Customers are delighted by the picture quality, ease of use, and the integrated Roku features of this 55" 4K Ultra HD TV. Many appreciate the value for the price and find the setup process straightforward. However, some users have reported issues with the remote control's functionality and occasional volume problems. A few customers also mentioned screen issues and a lower-than-ideal refresh rate for certain uses.

This was the fourth and and will be the last Insignia TV that I own. I won't buy another, as the longest lived of them was only 3 years old when it failed. The skin tones on this one were poor and somewhat blotchy, not what you'd expect from a 4K TV.

The Roku TV had problems from the start keeping the picture lit enough to see scenes that were shot in night time sequences or in reduced lighting situations. The Geek squad weighed in and said that it appears the mother board installed at the factory was defective from the start.Had the TV for about a week trying to change picture settings to fix the problem. Nothing worked. The Geek squad are the ones to suggest returning the TV. Which I did. Trying to get a replacement TV was as problematic as the purchase of the first TV. So the TV was returned and the purchase price was refunded. Because of the problems I encountered and the trouble(cost and time) entailed to return the TV I have serious reservation on purchasing electronics of any kind from Best Buy.

Brand new tv and we've had to get 2 replacement remotes. Almost every time we use the remote to turn it on, it doesn't work and we have to manually turn it on. Then we have to wait because sometimes the remote still doesn't work.

I have always had good luck with insignia but I have always had smaller TVs for bedrooms and such from them. After having this one for a week I exchanged it and got a Samsung for $150 more..... to me it was worth the extra money on the Samsung.... much better picture

I am very disappointed in the picture quality of this TV. I wanted a Westinghouse, but it was unavailable in my area. There is no way to adjust the color or contrast on this TV. If you can, get the Westinghouse. I have their 65" and the picture is amazing!!

Worked great for 2 years then one day the picture grew dark and never came back. Contacted Geek Squad and found that the extended warranty I purchased expired a week prior. I will never buy another Insignia product.

The tv gave multiple problems. When Greek squad came out they tired to charge me $175 when the tv was under Greek squad warranty. The screen went black after 2 years

Very satisfied with purchase of Insignia 4K TV

I was looking for several things when I purchased this TV. I wanted a larger screen with at least 1080P resolution. In addition, I wanted it to be a smart TV with built-in access to ROKU streaming. Finally, I wanted to stay close to $500.00. When I saw this set on sale for $549 I was interested. The fact that it was 4K also got my attention. After reading a number of reviews I decided to make the purchase. It was easy to set up and has a very good picture. I am happy with the decision to purchase this TV.

When I first tried to setup changing the control of off/on and volume to Dish remote, the volume was easy but still can't do off/on without TV remote. Then sometimes the volumes cannot be turned down on either remote. Fixed for now.

TV worked great for a little over a year before the backlights went out. Turns out, backlights are built into the panel on this TV, which means the panel (cost totaling $350-400) must be replaced to fix. If you plan on using this TV a fair amount, plan on it not lasting long. Of course, the backlights go out just after the manufacturer warranty expires. We own TVs that are 5-7 years old and still going strong. After this purchase, we will not be buying insignia products anymore.
