    Do waste your money or time . I purchase this tv February 26 2017, the tv stop workin July 21 2017. Best Buy taking over 2 weeks to help me . I called to complain about them selling me a defective product no one return my call , they sent the Greek squad who couldn't help, they had to order a part which took an additional week .. worst customer service .. I would never purchase with best buy again

    My TV is locked up on the initial screen where you choose the language. Geek Squad is scheduled to com out and fix it.

    We’ve had the TV for 2 years and now every 10 seconds or so the sound completely cuts out. Super annoying.

    This is a great TV. Let me first say that I am a Roku user so I was familiar with Roku before buying this tv and it is one of the reasons I decided to buy it. As a cord cutter, there is nothing better than Roku. I did a lot of research and went back and forth on whether to buy this TV. I have always been a samsung guy and for me to buy an insignia tv was huge step out of my comfort zone. I can say that so far I am loving the decision to buy this tv. I got it for 499 on the Memorial Day sales so I could not have asked for better timing on the price. Picture quality is amazing on netflix, hulu, and amazon prime. I watch a lot of sports so I was concerned about motion blur but I have not noticed any issues. The upscaler does an amazing job on MLB games. I have never seen baseball games look at sharp and vivid as on this tv. The one issue I have noticed is with my over the air channels. At times some of them look grainy or blurry, its hard to describe. However, at other times channels such as NBC in the evening will look absolutely perfect. It could be because our local Fox channel broadcasts in 720 and NBC in 1080 but I am not sure. The Roku interface does not disappoint. Fast and easy to navigate the menu. Yes, you do have to point the remote at the TV but get over yourself, it will be okay. Overall, I think this tv is a great value. It may not have the best 4k picture on the market but for the price it is excellent and you can't go wrong buying this tv.

    TV gave us trouble from the beginning -first there was no sound even with the sound bar. Then the picture went out, but we had sound. The Geeks came out and all seemed fine for two days. Then, no sound, but beautiful picture; then the picture went out along with the sound. After many frustrating visits to the store, we gave up and just returned it.

    There were not many reviews when I purchased this tv. It has only been two months, but the tv has been everything you could ask for. Not only are the colors crystal clear, vibrant and lifelike, but the tv also comes with the Roku platform...a VERY smart move by Insignia! For the price, this tv is definitely worth it. You can easily download one of the 4k apps that has the entire digital library for all of the movies and tv shows that are currently available in the 4K format.

    I've been waiting a while before writing this review just to make sure of how the experience was after having the TV for a while. We are completely satisfied with this TV! The picture quality is great and the 4k upconverting seems to work very well. For instance, sometimes I will order the cheapest Amazon movies for streaming in SD format, and they still look great on this TV. 4k content looks awesome, like from Netflix 4k or YouTube 4k. The streaming has been flawless and I can't complain at all. Setting up Apps is simple too. We love the simplicity of the Roku remote, and it is really nice to have one simple remote to control everything Vs some big complicated remote or even worse many remotes. Roku also had a phone app that works too. We are previous Roku owners so we were familiar with their layout and system so that helps too. The only things I can fault the TV for is black levels, sure it doesn't spec as well as the TV's that cost 4x as much, but for us, it is just fine. I also prefer this Insignia model VS the TCL ones. All in all, we are very happy with this purchase, especially for the price. The Best Buy delivery went well also, and they took our old TV away. We are completely satisfied with this purchase.     I got this home and couldn't get it to work at all. No picture nothing. Had to return it. I replaced it with a different model of Roku TV. It is a good echo system. Could be a great TV but never a good sign when you get one Dead on Arrival.

    Had it for almost 2 weeks before i decided to return it. It constantly turned itself off and wouldnt turn on without unplugging it. Brand is usually good, just not with that tv.

    Do Not Buy Out of Box

    The box was missing the stand, safety manual, and instruction manual. The box had a sticker on it that said it included everything and it obviously didn't. If you do buy out of box, check for everything before you leave the store.

    Bought this TV for Christmas 2016. So barely over 4 years and now the LED's blew out. No picture after 4 years?1?! Ridiculous!

    I am very upset in the over all quality of this tv. It quit turning in 7 days after our one year warranty. Do not waste your time buying this. But a Samsung or Sony.

    We tried to like the Insignia television but the pixelation during the NBA play off game was the final decision maker. This 55 inch Insignia brand television has been returned.

    We have had this tv for 30 days and continue to have problems... the sound cuts in and out. The picture becomes fragmented.
