Purchased this from the Deal of the Day for my teenager as she loves having a cup or two of hot tea when she gets home from school. It actually heats up faster than the traditional kettle on our gas stove, holds more water and stays hotter longer. Great buy!

I like this water boiler a lot. It's fast, turns blue inside when it's heating, cleans easily, and effortlessly does what it says it will do. This was a great value. My only apprehension was the color, but it was a good deal because of it. Besides, who gives a hoot what color it is, anyway? As long as the water's hot and the house doesn't burn down, I'm happy with this purchase.

Nice electric kettle. Boils water as it should. Solid white and black top with blue lights when turned on. Pretty cheap and no need for an expensive kettle that just boils water. Will buy another just to have an extra one.

This product is extremely convenient, and perfect for the oncoming winter months. I use it in my office at work to make hot tea and oatmeal every day. It also looks very stylish. Quality is excellent.

I bought this Insignia 1.5L electric kettle for $10 and it worked as expected. You just pour water, plug it in, press the button and it automatically shut off when the water finish boiling. It's that easy and I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn off it off, it does it on itself. I use this mainly to cook instant noodles and make hot drinks. It's great for college student if you want to make some quick food or hot drinks in your room.

Well built, boils fast, blue glow LED inside the kettle makes it look futuristic in the dark kitchen while boiling water for late night tea.

This hot water kettle is a great buy. It boils a full kettle in about a minute. I was looking for one of these because we used them in Japan but the ones from there are over $70 + shipping. The design with the kettle separating from the base makes the kettle easier to carry and pour at the table. I use it to make tea and my kids use it for cup ramen. Its definitely something I'd buy for a college student.

my daughter likes to have tea sometimes and this is great for making the hot water and in case she forgets to turn it off its auto shut off. I really like that feature:)

Used a 3 times so far and they seem to work fine. However, the product looks very cheap in both material and workmanship. I initially bought 2 with an intention of giving one to someone as a gift, but after i received the products i realized it's too cheap looking to give as a gift, so i kept one and returned the other one to the store.
