    The Insignia 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure was very easy to use. Take out two screws, Plug the drive into the case connections and reinstall the two screws. It connects to a USB-3 socket on a computer and is like having another hard drive installed. I used it for a solid state hard drive and it works perfectly.

    ... didn't serve the purpose for which I bought it. My previous laptop suffered a system issue while transferring files to my new one. I bought this to try to save the remaining files, but when I put the old hard drive into the enclosure, it didn't read anything on the drive at all. I'm sure this is due to the issues with the old laptop, and not the enclosure itself, but I have no way to truly rate the product.

    Can't underestimate a drive blinking when it is working. USB 3.0 is pretty fast, gets the job done.
