I removed the hard drive and this gives me all the files on my new laptop plugging into a USB port. A lifesaver.

Initially I had some trouble lining up the lid and inserting the hard drive, but all in all, it took about 10 minutes to get everything ready to go.

Great price great backup drive

I've used it working on my brother-in-law's computer and my own and it has been fast and efficient. I can easily recommend it to anyone who wants a reasonably priced USB drive.

Awesome Case
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally I had purchased the cheaper self-powered cases and was not impressed as they would become disconnected by the slightest vibration, or would not draw enough power for larger drives, etc. These drive cases are different and work flawlessly. Single cable, single USB-C connector (works with 2) and nothing but easy use.

The only issue I've had is that the port was faulty on my first one meaning that it would get disconnected for no reason. The result was that it made me lose one of my partitions because I was moving it and it randomly disconnected. All in works well though.
