so you done did good, son. Stellar. Switched to an SSD so I took this out of my laptop. More space for me to store movies or whatever with if I end up deploying again.

I was able to transfer my wife's laptop hard drive to this enclosure, followed by uploading the data to our personal cloud without issues. It made updating to a new laptop problem free without having to worry about data-loss.

Nothing to exiting but it does just what it's supposed to and has usb 3.0 so you can transfer things quickly, not a bad price either. Guess if anything maybe they could make the drive easier to get in and out of the case but no big deal.

This enclosure fit my drive perfectly and secure. It is light and strong and has screws that hold it together. The cable is hefty and is long allowing extension use. Get a couple!!!

Was able to use HD from a non functioning laptop! Could also use it to erase data from a laptop HD before disposing of it. WD once had a program that wrote zeros to old hard drives to wipe them clean.

I bought this to recover data off of an old and failing hard drive. It does what it is suppose to do and allows you to put in a 2.5 inch drive and read data off of it. There are many other cheaper options out there if you are looking for something cheap to use for a short time.

Bought this to get the info from old dead computer to my new Mac.It was easy to mount the HDD in the enclouser .seems well maid it is a 3.0 USB so it's not slow with read or wright,

Purchase to make use of the old laptop hard drive as a external hard drive works great for that but it also works good as a temporary reader if you need to move files wit a hard drive that just sitting out of a CPU.

My daughter's lap top stopped working. I removed it's hard drive and inserted it into this enclosure. I plugged it into another computer with a USB port and all her work photos and data were saved.

It took a few seconds to put it to work and the most impressive feature is that is mac and pc compatible. You cannot beat the price.

Considering all the data and photos I had on my laptop I would say excellent value. With this case I was simply able to take all of my saved information from my broken laptop (fried motherboard) and plug and play on my kids laptop.

I used this enclosure for a hard drive I removed from my 2011 MacBook Pro. The enclosure has a sold build and comes with little tools that you'll find handy down the road.

I bought this product after my daughter's laptop stepped into the light!! I installed her drive into the enclosure and had her files transferred to here new laptop in less than 25 minutes. Very fast transfer rate and Mac compatible.

Works as advertised. Would buy it again if I needed one.
