Bought this little device for a laptop hard drive that wouldn't load windows. Worked great. Popped in the hard drive plugged it into the USB port on a different computer and it read like an external.

Wanted a USB 3.0 case for faster external transfers. Keep in mind you should keep at least a 7200RPM drive in it or an SSD. Otherwise, You'll only transfer as fast at the drive and not get the USB 3.0 rates you were hoping for.

I use this to keep my external SSD. Works fine, does it job. My SSD stays attached to my Mac mini at all the time, so I can't really commont about the durability.

Makes it convenient to remove older laptop hard drives from systems which are no longer functional and transfer their data to my computer.

I needed an external drive enclosure quickly and this one has been great so far. Light weight, with a detachable cable (a standard external sata cable). All in all I'm happy.

Packaging held drive well once assembled. Device supported two hard drive data conversion updates, and worked as expected. It can be difficult to remove the drive if not using the enclosure as a permanent external drive adapter. Hardware is not captive and gaskets are orientation specific, making it a pain to swap out drives. This device works fairly well as an external enclosure, and works but is not ideal as a SATA to USB adapter.

I needed the enclosure immediately to get data off a hard drive after a motherboard failure. It was the only one available at the store and served its purpose well, but significantly more expensive than others available online.

Purchased this product to use with a hybrid hard drive that I had purchased for a laptop and ended up not needing. Bought this product to hook that drive up to my AirPort Extreme to add some extra storage to my network. The drive was very easy to install with the only tool needed being a screwdriver that is provided in the package. Would recommend this to anyone with a spare laptop drive that they want to turn into an external hard drive.

I took my old computer hard drive and placed it i n this enclosure and wow a great storage drive for my computer.

I used a external hard drive for a capacity problem issue. I ordered the wrong drive for replacing internal drive. Therefore this enclosure solved my problem by programing it as my main drive and using existing internal drive as extra storage.

Honestly, this is the best money saver when it comes to upgrading my ps4 hard drive. Now, I have 1.5 tb of memory to uses up.

I needed to pull data from several old laptop hard drives that no longer worked and within minutes I was able to transfer documents, folders, and photos over to my new laptop.

This enclosed my hard drive and protected it from the worst of the world. It was safe and warm and happy - for a time.

The setup was simple and easy. I slide my SSD in and away we go. The whole process took about 2 minutes. I havent had an issue since then. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

This external case did the job a laptop lost its motherboard so used this to install the hard drive from bad laptop so I could retrieve the data from hard drive.

Overall, works as it should. Nothing flashy, just works. Would be nice if it had (more) air holes for ventalation, as I use mine with an SSD and it gets warm (not extremely hot, just warm). Other than that, good solid construction.
