Worked out very well for the spare Hard drive I have. Used to make a mirror image of my laptop.

So in order to image my Laptop HDD to an SSD, I needed this to place my SSD into. It was a little bit clumsy, but after I figured it out, it worked great. I took my SSD out and swapped out the HDD. I put the HDD in this enclosure and use it as a external drive. I also bought a second one and put an SSD into it using it as another external hard-drive. Runs like a charm.

This enclosure did exactly what it said. It's an aluminum case, light weight. It could be less clunky, however. It feels like if I drop it, whatever is inside won't survive the fall.
