    When I upgraded to a new laptop, I needed a method to transfer files from my old laptop hard drives to my new 4-TB backup drive. This works great!

    USB3.0 caddy hosts a SSD used on xbox one console. Superfast load times compared to internal HD unit. Works fine all this past month, no regrets

    Spilled water on my wifes laptop, hoping I could pull old files from the hard drive i purchased this product. Water must have gotten on the hard drive as well as i wasnt able to pull anything off of it

    This enclosure did exactly what it said. It's an aluminum case, light weight. It could be less clunky, however. It feels like if I drop it, whatever is inside won't survive the fall.

    So in order to image my Laptop HDD to an SSD, I needed this to place my SSD into. It was a little bit clumsy, but after I figured it out, it worked great. I took my SSD out and swapped out the HDD. I put the HDD in this enclosure and use it as a external drive. I also bought a second one and put an SSD into it using it as another external hard-drive. Runs like a charm.
