The card installed very quickly and effortlessly into an available slot on the motherboard. Using external drives this way saves on the wear and tear on them by not keeping them installed all the time, rather only when I need to access them, extending their life by years.

I thought my Asus had a USB 3.0 slot, but discovered I was wrong. This card allowed me to get the 3.0 speed quickly and easily. Now all my transfers happen in far less time. If you want to upgrade without getting a new computer, this is the perfect option.

This is needed for older motherboards that may not have enough USB 3 connectors. Newer ones, not so much... but it does what is is supposed to do. Can't say much more than that.

This add-on PCI-E USB 3.0 card is easy to install and works as advertised. Assisted greatly in moving cloned data from established hard drive to a larger replacement hard drive with no CRC errors.

I needed to backup my computer as my hard drive was signalling it was about to quit. I found I had a slot for this device and an external drive box, so hoped this would work. It helped me salvage years of precious photographs.

This add on was easy to install and nothing additional required to make this work. I wish I would have bought this years ago! What an improvement in downloading and uploading from Flash drives and External Hard drives.

This is a great, inexpensive product to get USB 3.0 speeds into an older tower computer. The power supply for a floppy drive is needed to run the card so there might be some modification on the installer's part.

Easy installation. There was only one 4 pin socket for power. Copy speeds to an external drive increased by a factor of 5 over USB2.

Third time I've bought a 3.0 expansion card. Returned earlier two because they seemed to required a floppy drive electrical plug. But (from Maximum PC) if you use a powered hub you don't need a floppy drive power connector. I did that and it works like a champ.

Was easy to install and works great. The speed of the USB 3.0 pci card works better then the Internal drive on my old computer.

I had a 4 port USB 3.0 PCI card but needed a 2 port with a shorter plate for my new computer. It was easy to swap out the standard plate for the short one and fits perfectly.

This little card gives my 2 year old PC the ability to use UBD 3.0 thumb drives, letting me wait for the machines come out later this year.

I noticed how nice a 3.0 USB plug worked when I was backing up my laptop to a external SeagateMedia hard drive. I wanted this for my desktop. It fits and works well.

I had the twin USB 3.0 ports added to a new PC by Geek Squad when I purchased the PC. Having a Geek Squad membership there was no charge for the installation.

This USB 3.0 card works well. It increased transfer speeds dramatically to my external hard drive. It was even easy to instal.

Easy to install and has worked with no problems. This does need a separate power source though.

My husband upgraded his desktop computer by adding this USB 3.0 interface card which then permitted him to use the USB 3.0 wireless USB adapter.

Does the job it's supposed to do - not to much to say about extra USB ports other than it works well!
