Terrible. Avoid. Looks great and side is awesome. Have had for three weeks and whole unit shut down (not a power source issue). Best Buy not responding or passing me around. Outrageous for an item this new and expensive.

We purchased this to use as an additional freezer for breast milk. It has been a massive dissapointment. The shelves are made of a very weak plastic-like material which does not hold much weight. For comparison, each shelf on our 20 cu-ft Frigidaire holds more than 3 times the amount of weught that a shelf on the Insignia can hold. We only purchased this unit a month ago and we have 5 more months worth of milk to store. The inferior materials in the freezer will not serve our purposes. We have contacted Best Buy and they will not exchange or accept a return. Basically, we just wasted $1000, just like that. Instead Best Buy is sending a technician out to us to see if there is a defect. I'm not holding my breath. Thr entire unit is one colossal defect. This appliance was made with inferior products - save your money and your mental well being and buy a Frigidaire or any other reputable brand. Its worth the spend.

Looks like I bought this item on August 22, 2025 and I still don’t have a refrigerator. Sorry employees. When I called yesterday and told them I still didn’t have a refrig, they put my to August 24. That’s crazy. Mine should be next since I wanted all day on them and still not refrigerator. What’s Best Buy’s problem?

This unit is advertised to be “garage ready” and convertible between freezer and refrigerator. We needed a fridge for the garage and liked the temperature indicator on the door. However, this model does not perform well as a refrigerator. The digital display indicated a temperature of 35F, but the actual temperature fluctuated between 39F and 47F. (We placed a remote thermometer inside the unit.) After losing $100 of meat, we decided to return this model and replaced it with another brand that has worked very well. We do not recommend this item as a refrigerator for a garage location.

Handle broke off within a month, didn't affect the refrigeration

Bought this and when we opened it the door was all dented and scratched. Also the screws for the door handle were open so it seemed to us that it was a returned item yet we still had to pay full price for it. Overall it works for what we wanted but we were not happy about a dented up fridge.

Freezer is hard to open but i love it. Delivery team wasnt helpful and didnt bring it in house. Called about delivery men but they showed no concern. My freezer is scratched now due to no help getting it in.

It worked well and we liked the sturdy shelves and drawers. But after a year it was inconsistent in freezing so we exchanged it for a different one.

The shelves on this unit are plastic and cannot hold a load like one calf we had butchered. We tried to load the cuts of meat in the freezer and found that the shelves were in danger of breaking. We had to keep the meat in a box to spread the weight out and it still bent.

Woke up this morning after 8 months of having it and will not freeze. 100’s of dollars worth of meat is now destroyed. DO NOT BUY IT!

good product serves its purpose to store extra food to keep for emergencies it freezes well We havent used it as a refridgerator yey .

I got the freezer and did not work, which turned in the lost of some game meat. For the delivery i had to cancel an appointment and for the pick up late again. Best Buy picked up the freezer and that was it. For some reason the guys from Best buy are capable of communicating with the customer. On both occasions I just stood there until I asked if that was it. Response: yes. Nobody contacted me to try to make the experience any better. I am not a first time buyer from Best buy but appears that that did not make a difference, still nobody care.

Freezer works great! I have it set to -10 for all of my frozen meat and it has maintained and has been frost free. It has a lot of room in it as well!

This appliance is overpriced for what it provides. Average quality. It serves it's purpose.

Had a dent in it about 2 feet long even though no damage in box

Worked good for 7 months then would not cool bellow 59 degrees had to throw out a fridge full of food. No alarm to warn you.

I bought 2 of these. The one I'm using as a fridge is not cooling properly. The temperature is in the upper 50s. Really disappointing after only 1.5 yrs. Plus cost of food loss.

I have had this item for 2-3 weeks. It is supposed to be a refrigerator or a freezer. I bought it as a refrigerator. The lowest temperature for the refrigerator (based on the digital readout) is supposed to be 35 degrees. I have had a thermometer in the refrigerator since day one and it never gets below 40 degrees. I have called Best Buy to return the product as I am afraid that during the summer, in my garage, it will get even warmer. It has not gotten to 35 degrees even with the garage being below 50 degrees. Unfortunately, they have not followed up with me and I will have to call again. Terrible customer service.

This was the worst series of weak technical support, coordination with third party delivery contractors, and poor sppliance handeling and product QC we have seen in years. We will most likely never purchase another appliance from BB again.

the containers or items we put in freezer keeps on sliding and falls out when you open the door.
