Temp isn't as consistent as it should be

I had to have it replaced under warranty once due to inconsistent temperature. But as the replacement functioned precisely the same, I must assume this is "normal" for this model. The temperature can sometimes vary by up to 15-20 degrees - even when it's not opened - or particularly hot or cold in the garage. I can only see this with a YoLink WiFi monitor, which is much more accurate than your average monitor, which don't always catch these temp variances. The YoLink sends more frequent updates. This is notable as the temp drops are brief and are technically nowhere near long enough to cause any food spoilage. But it's still not ideal functionality for a freezer. Or anything I've noticed on other models. My workaround has been to simply lower the temperature to at least -8 degrees F so that it's still well within the range I'm happy with when the temperature fluctuates. Also, to be fair, this isn't exactly a top-end model, but as it literally has one job, I'm going to hold it to that standard. Plus, it's $100 cheaper right now than what I paid. I might have been more forgiving had I paid a bit less. But it is what it is. Find it on sale, set the temp low, get the warranty, and it should work well enough.
