I feel that the one that works is great at transferring information with high speed. But the fact the other one died so fast make me hesitant to buy them again

Works, but not at USB 3.0 speeds

My original cable that came with the device had broken, and the replacement I got from Amazon only connects at USB 2 speed (HighSpeed), not USB 3 speed (SuperSpeed). This cable on bestbuy.com was at a great price and cheap enough that I was willing to buy 2 of them to try it. And they worked fine, just not at the faster speed. I tried both of them, on 2 different computers and no luck. I returned them because I already have a slower speed cable. I did read the product description before purchasing, and it implied high speed. I guess they only meant that the physical connection matches up.

Doesn't work with external hdd
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using a 1TB Lacie external hdd and the micro b connector on the cable does not make strong enough contact with the hdd port so the hdd does not power on for longer than a second. I am returning this cable immediately.
