    Great value for the price.

I had read many reviews on this tv before purchasing and there were several comments about issues with the Blu-Ray player. To date I have not had any issues and the internet connectivity has been flawless. Movies stream through netflix without any issues and the router is at least 20 feet away. The sound for music (such as Pandora) is not great, but it's easy to connect to a aux system to pump out better sound.

    Slow to change channels

The TV is very slow at changing channels and booting up the DVD player and TV, but the picture quality is decent. I haven't tried a blueray disk yet, but have used NetFlix a lot and it looks pretty good. I am pretty happy with the sound as well. The mounting was a little weak. The screws that hold the mount in seem to only be molded in the plastic outer shell, and one of them came out on my TV

    Great All-In-One System

Great Blu-Ray / LCD Combo that secures nicely to a wall mount. I was surprised to see that the unit was WIFI ready and it connected very easily to my wireless router and nextflix. Minor Critique : The picture is good but not great and I found that most of the standard analog channels were in standard box format. Not a problem since you can zoom to wide screen. However, I can't seem to get it to default to widescreen mode on standard channels and have to set it each time I watch one of those channels. This may very well be an intended configuration but I would prefer it to default. Overall, I think this television is great for the purpose I need it to serve.

    Great Picture, Weird Quirks

I purchased the TV as a gift and had it shipped rather than buying it at the store. And when my daughter opened the box, the TV had a gooey film on the screen (as if it previously had a price tag on the screen) so it may have been a floor model, which is not ideal. We have not been able to remove the film, though luckily it does not affect the picture quality. Any tips on how to remove it would be greatly appreciated. Also, the first time she used the BluRay / DVD player it squeaked very loudly throughout the movie, but she has not had trouble with it since. The Netflix feature is great.

    Nice All In One

The un-boxing and setup were easy. Make sure you have a nice flat surface to rest the flat screen for the installation of the stand. The setup of the channels was interesting. it takes about 30 minutes to scan all the channels. When in the setup screen for this feature, make sure you do not accidentally select the auto scan again because you have to wait for the full completion again (if you exit all info is lost). We really enjoy Netflix on this TV. We use the build-in wireless to connect to the home network and we have yet to have an issue with streaming HD content on a "G" network. It is "N" capable but we don't have that at home. Pandora works well, but we do not use it often. It has plenty of HDMI inputs and the VGA port is nice for a netbook running Boxee and Hulu.

Bummer! This tv was a good buy in terms of price for what you'd get. Blu ray, 1080, internet connect, blah, blah. However all the reviews (Most) complained about the blu ray player. Im mad at myself for still giving the insignia a try. Blu ray player didnt read a thing. Grinded a little, thats about it. Brand new dvd in it. We bought this for the kids room. It's gonna see lots of dvds. Should play em. Was excited to get into the bluray world. Nevermind, its going back. Wasted trip to the store and now have to go back. Gonna give the dynex a try its only 720 and no bluray but who cares for the little ones room. saves about $150 bucks as well. Best buy its a bummer im returning your better model tv to the bottom shelf version. Insignia vs dynex. If this one doesnt go any better......well then we all already know...... you get what ya pay for. To bad Sams doesnt have 18+ same as cash financing.

Great Combo Set - No issues here!

I was a little nervous reading the reviews but decided to give the set a try. It was strange that the guys at my local Best Buy were unaware that the model existed, they said all the combo's were discontinued. Had them check again, and voila, there were 3 in the store. Got the set home, hooked it up quite easily, and have no issues to report. The picture is clear, the sound acceptable, and the stations come in clear using an HD antenea. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

    Bad Blu-ray player

The wife wanted an all-in-one DVD/Blu-ray/Netflix/Pandora TV to put in front of the treadmill in our sun room. I thought 32 inches was a little bigger than required, but it turned out to be just fine. TV reception was exceptional (picking up stations 10-15 miles away without an antenna!) and Netflix/Pandora was smooth over Wi-Fi. Note, the Wi-Fi is strictly 2.4GHz band. It does not support 5.0GHz. It had no problems with 802.11n and WPA2/AES. That said, the interface is a little clumsy. You can easily tell that all the TV is essentially two devices within one case because the two Internet apps (Netflix and Pandora) are only accessible when you change to the Blu-ray input. Now as for the Blu-ray player itself. Mine, like the dozens and dozens more you see in the reviews here (wish I read them earlier), was total garbage. I put in a disc and in a couple seconds it starts a loud grinding noise. About 5 seconds later it ejects the disc. Weird. It's a new disc from the store. Okay, so I put in a another disc. Same problem. Thankfully, there was no damage to the discs. So, since the discs were okay, I tried once more. This time it took the disc and started playing the movie. As the movie progressed, the VERY LOUD grinding got quieter and quieter. Cool, maybe it just needed use to lubricate itself?... Nope! Now it wouldn't eject the disc! I even tried unplugging and plugging the power, hold eject forever, etc. Finally, I stumbled to an online post about pressing the STOP button on the TV while in TV mode (and not Blu-ray mode). YES! It came out. It now doesn't have a problem taking and ejecting discs. You'd think I'd be happy now? Reads discs quietly and ejects. WRONG. Next morning... back to the same problem. LOUD GRINDING (didn't go away as I watched the movie) and then started skipping. Then it started refusing discs (just ejects them). Sorry... I'm fed up with it. And seeing the other reviews here, I'm not alone. I wish Best Buy offered a different model (as I do love Best Buy), but I guess I'll have to return this for a refund. A "club" sells a 32" Hitachi with the same features for the same price. It has several reviews... all 5-star positive.

    Blu-Ray concerns

The Blu-Ray didn’t work at all on my first purchase. I exchanged it for a new one and they checked it in the store to make sure it worked before I brought it home. The new one has been working great. I love how easy it was to set up, easy use of the wireless internet and I it's nice to not have a bunch of cords for all the different devices. Overall a good price, good quality... as long as the Blu-Ray works!

If you have a location with limited space, this is a great solution. The built-in Blu-ray with wireless service helps reduce space clutter and works great. The latest version works much better than last year's model with improved features and blu-ray operation. Compared to purchasing two unique devices (the TV and Blu-ray) you get a quality 32 inch 1080P LCD television coupled with an Internet enabled BluRay player. It is a great concept executed very well.

I would have given this product an excellent rating other than the fact that it is a bit hard to figure out how to use. The directions do not match how you actually need to operate. In addition, my blu ray player stopped working within the first month and will not play DVDs or Blu Rays which is very frustrating.

    DVD/Blu-ray player breaks

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchased this product and in less than a year had the DVD player break so many times that they finally let me return the unit for another. I got a Panasonic without the built-in player and am much happier. The Geek Squad tech who kept coming to my house to fix the unit told me that this model is really best for people who only require limited use of the player. I used mine a lot, so I guess it wasn't for me. I was looking to not have any wires or anything to connect to the TV as I have it hanging on the wall and do not have an entertainment stand - not worth it. I'll mount an external blu-ray player on the wall. The TV worked OK, so if you only use the DVD player ocassionally and are willing to take a gamble, I suggest purchasing the extended coverage. I was impressed by the Geek Squad service and was happy when they exchanged my TV fairly hassle free.

    Good Value

I bought this TV for my bedroom to save space and minimize the amount of electronics I need. The TV works well for watching TV and movies (I haven't used it for any gaming). It's a great value for a 1080p TV and wireless internet connected Blu-ray player. The Blu-ray player made weird, loud noises the first few times I used it, but it soon stopped--I'm assuming things need to straighten out after storage/transport. The only draw back of having the integrated Blu-ray player is that it does seem to remember your position in movies if you switch back to the TV input in the middle of watching a DVD/Blu-ray.

    Great TV for a bedroom

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchase this TV in December and so far I am pretty happy with it. I got it as a second TV for my bedroom, since I am limited of space, it was perfect to mount it on the wall; I love the fact that the Blue Ray is integrated so there is no any other hook up of other source needed, so the only cables showing are the power cord and the satellite cable. The only disappointment is that I am limited to only Netflix and Pandora. At first when I saw that it was internet connectable I thought that I was going to be able to do more, like you tube or social networking, but you can’t. You cannot even do Cinema Now on it. Other than that, I like it a lot. I can still see my DVD’s and they look better than on a regular DVD player.

Never buy a TV isn't Internet Connectable

We bought this TV for our kid's play room to hang on the wall. The main thing we wanted was Internet Connectable for Netflix streaming. The added bonus was a Blu-Ray player. So far this TV has been great, the only thing not spectacular are the speakers, but you can't really expect them to be awesome, they are just TV speakers. I would recommend this TV wanting something in this size.

of those having Blu-ray trouble. When it worked, it was great, but it stopped playing any DVDs entirely within the first month. I like the idea of a combo Blu-ray/TV and, after reading other reviews, am exchanging it for a new one. The TV is fine; it's the Blu-ray that seems to need some tweaking.
