DO NOT BUY!!!

I had high hopes when purchasing this item. The capabilities and features set this TV apart from the rest. Plus the price was amazing. I caught a sale and decided to purchase this item. However, when trying to play a brand new blu-ray disc, the player kept malfunctioning and then displayed "no disc". This item was new out of the box, as well as the movie that was put into the player. After some troubleshooting, and some research online, I found that Insignia is one of the WORST brands for blu-ray, and is known for their terrible products not playing discs. And the saddest part, is Best Buy is well aware that they are putting low quality, sub-standard products out for the consumer. I am disgusted and appalled that this TV was even put in their stores. My best, and only advise, is to avoid this TV at all cost unless you like to drive back and forth to the store exchanging it for something different.

Great to have it all, TV, BlueRay, and the internet. We have it on our outdoor covered patio. We can enjoy the evening outdoors and still be connected to the internet.

Blu-ray player won't work first day home

I had hoped I wouldn't have the problems other's have had with the Blu Ray player not working on this Insignia 32 in combo HDTV. I got it home, connects instantly to my wiFi. Netflix account on! Same for Optimum cable -all channels work. Put in Pirates of the caribbean, disc one nothing but I hear whizzing, gears turning- disc not readable! NEW BR DISC! Try disc two of the set, after spitting it out and re-inserting it, it freezes on a frame. Doesn't work. Ordered another and will bring this one back. Will let you know. I suspect there may be a reason not many combo units are made by others. SOOOO DIsappointed. Great value ONLY if it works!

Fine TV, but not for Netflix

This is a decent unit for the price. Built-in Blu-ray player is very convenient and not at all clunky. Got it set up and connected to DirecTV within a few minutes of opening the box, piece of cake.
The only negative is the built-in connection to Netflix. It rarely works, and there is no solution. Sometimes you can get it working just by trying it over and over, or getting out your laptop and starting from scratch, but then you're looking at spending ten minutes every time you want to fire up Netflix. I phoned the Insignia people and checked internet message boards, but there is no fix. So, if you are buying with Netflix in mind, just know that you will need a Roku or Wii or something to attach to the TV.

Initially, I picked a unit off the floor of the store from a display, and that unit had to be returned, as the DVD player was faulty. That having been done, the replacement unit is working beautifully, and all are pleased with it's performance. Overall, a good buy.

Good TV for the price But with a problem

I got this TV because of the Netflix/Pandora features. Which led to bigger purchases @ Best Buy, Speakers. However when the whole thing was set up the TV does not seem to remember that there are external speakers attached. Every time you change a channel, switch from TV to Pandora etc. it stops playing the sound through the external speakers and I have to reset the TV. Due to this issue I will be bringng the product back and figuring out something different.

Great TV
Easy set up at home, it took me 20 minutes to assemble, connect, and watch. Another 3 to connect to the internet.
Picture quality is great.
Sound quality is a so so. Connecting to a stereo system does not seem to help much.
Overall a good purchase.

Bought this as a Christmas present for the bedroom. Liked the features, horrible execution. The picture is ok, and the sound is passable, but the Blu-Ray player absolutely refused to work. That is a 1/3 of the reason to select this tv. It really did sound like a blender, please use a bonus disc as your fist test disc! It wouldn't read any kind of disc for longer than 30 seconds, if at all.
I like the feature set, so I will try an exchange first before I call it quits but it isn't looking good right now.

The built in Blu-ray player is great, no extra wires to worry about when hanging this on the wall. It is a great product. The only down side is that it is a little slow in connecting to the wireless network and does not always do this automatically. In my opinion that is only a minor detail and it is still worth it.

We have really enjoyed have our tv. Our only complaint is that is was an open box item and the screws are messed up and the cable connection is messed up also. These were things they obviously did not check before clearing it for resell.

I have the older model the NS-LBD32X-10A, and the blu-ray player was fine until today. Today I tried to play Salt, but it wouldn't load. It would get 95% there and then just stop. The disc plays fine in my Magnavox blu-ray player. When I went to the Insignia website, the staff basically said that they would look into it, but that has been going on for over a month. I also found other posts from other owners who found that it won't play Avatar and other new discs. Insignia is a Best Buy owned brand so they should be able to fix that problem, they just aren't that concerned with customer satisfaction.

I purchased this TV because it has so many built in features. The salesman said that it did not have wireless internet but it does. In the store the picture looked ok but the tv that I took home had a horrible picture. I tried different blu-rays and they all looked terrible. It was slow to play a blu-ray, dvd or content from the internet. There were many other problems with it and I just took it back.
