Both worked perfectly as I needed them, and I was not surprised that the first one broke when a heavy person stepped directly on it.

I needed more plugs for my work computer. I am currently using it for keyboard, camera and mouse. The did free up my other higher plug for my headset. I am pleased so far. Also it came with a five foot cord so i dont have to get down under my desk to plug/unplug if needed.

Works great, can even be used unpowered

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this hub with my desktop, I have my rgb keyboard, mouse, and microphone all plugged into it without the power cable, so they are only getting power from usb cable, and it works with no issues. Having the option to plug in a power cable to the wall is also nice to have in case you have a device that needs more power than your computer can provide over USB alone. The only downside in my use-case is that I prefer to have my keyboard and mouse rgb to turn off when I turn my PC off, which won't happen if it is plugged into the wall. Overall, compared to the previous model of this hub, this one comes with a braided usb cable instead of a standard rubber one, and is silver instead of black. I just wish they still made a black version so it matches the rest of my setup better.

I have a lot of equipment to connect to my PC and did not have enough USB ports on my pc. Ever since I have bought this power hub, I am able to connect a webcam, microphone, wireless keyboard, mouse, headset, external hard drive, and capture card! Highly recommend.
