The Insignia 40 inch LEF HDTV is an excellent TV with a clear, precise picture. The only drawback is connecting the cables at the back. You have to stand on your head.

THIS IS THE 4th TV I HAVE BOUGHT FROM BEST BUY IN A YEAR FOR MY FAMILY AND PARENTS. GOOD QUALITY FOR THE PRICE. THE SOUND COULD BE BETTER BUT EXCEPTABLE FOR A SMALL ROOM.

This is not an expensive TV if that is what you're looking for but for the price you can't go wrong. I have had Insignia brands in the past and have been very pleased.

I bought this TV for my daughters who share a room. It has a great picture and good sound quality. I got in on sale during Christmas, so can't be the price for the TV.

I bought this tv on sale cause i wanted to upgrade my 32 inch tv. At first i wasnt sure that this 159.99 tv would have great quality, but as soon as i plugged it in i was surprised.

For those of us who don't want the television to be the central focus when you walk into the room, this 40" model is great!

Picked up this TV for $159 during the pre-Black Friday sale. Picture is very good but still won't beat the latest from the Tier 1 brands. But for the price this is an awesome deal.

My older Insignia tv is still going strong (3) years. Absolutely no complaints about old or new. At $160 each, I thought it was a good buy. That was why I bought two.

I bought this tv on a Black Friday week sale and it is great. Picture, sound, size is perfect for a bedroom. I just wish it had 1 more hdmi port. No big deal though.

The TV has great picture quality for a room. Not good enough for a living room but works perfectly in a room. Sound is fairly good and so far so good especially for the low price.

We were looking for a good quality HDTV for one of our senior centers. This insignia fit the bill. The clarity is above average and this unit is very simple to set up and operate.

The picture is extremely clear. Got it within 3 days of buying online. I have it in my college dorm room and it is absolutely perfect for tv/movie watching and gaming.

Great second TV for bedroom. Just large enough for 1080 to be utilized. Picture is excellent. Didn't want or need smart features or 3D/4K great TV for purpose it is being used for.
