Note this is not a Smart TV, but a good affordable alternative. I bought this TV plus an Amazon Fire stick to save about 100 bucks compared to getting a similar Smart TV. It has been working well as a converted Smart TV, and the advantage of a Fire stick (or I guess ROku) is the apps are not as limited. One complaint: I have hundreds of movies a USB drive, and asked a BB team member to locate whether or not there was a USB connection. There is, but unfortunately it does nothing, but charge other devices. No way to play those movies unless I play them on my laptop and connect by HDMI. Kind of inefficient.

I would highly recommend the Insignia 40" tv. iit has very high quality picture. Hope to enjoy for many years.

This is a great TV for the price. It has multiple HDMI hook ups which is a must these days. The sound is great too which is one thing I was worried about.

Very good 40" HDTV for a great price. I think it was like $150 on an on-line Black Friday week purchase. With the extended warranty really can't go wrong.

I got this tv as an open-box sale item. Great deal! The only problem was no remote came with it, but y'all gave me a remote for free that works like a champ.

Great picture, easy to use remote, easy to use controls on the TV itself. Only downfall is it would be nice to have a guide program button on the remote.

THIS 40 INCH INSIGNIA IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY DEN. IT WAS EXTREMELY EASY TO SETUP AND CONNECT TO CABLE. THE PICTURE , COLOR, AND SOUND ARE GREAT.

This is one of the best tvs I've purchased. The picture is crystal clear, with the sound on 1 I can hear everything! I would recommend this tv to anyone.

this TV was a replacement for my grandmother. She has limited space and this television fit in that space perfectly. Clear picture and good sound at a decent price.

A fine television for basic usage with no frills. I use it to show videos at trade shows. Easy to hook up and use. Great picture and handy remote control.

Great picture, Great sound. Got a Smart Sony Blueray BDP 6500 Upscaling player on sale and now have a SMART TV, and can play DVDs and Blueray disks too!
