I purchased this TV for my son and I have to say im pleased although I was a little skeptical at first im totally sold. Next month I'll be purchasing the 50 inch same brand for my bedroom. Picture is very crisp clear, sound is great, aND his video game graphics are perfect. If you decide to purchase you don't be disappointed.

Overall pretty good TV for the price. I bought it for a home gym. Sound quality is good, but I have to turn it up louder than a normal TV to hear it. Picture is clear, but has a slow refresh rate and is somewhat noticeable when watching sports. Best TV of this size at a discount price point.

This is my first Insignia TV. So far, it has been a reliable purchase. Owned it for around one month. Controls and settings are easy to operate and locate. Picture is clean for only having a 60hz refresh rate. The sound, however, like most flat screens is still a little tinny. this can be overlooked. Lightweight and simple outer appearance keeps it from looking cheap. Definitely would buy this brand in a larger size next time.

I purchased this TV to replace an Insignia 32' that was having trouble. I just want to say it pays to have the extended warranty! Not only is this TV 10" larger it is also 1080p. Since the TV was RoKu ready I purchased the RoKu device using the coupon I received with the TV. Very nice since it uses the TV's Remote instead of another remote! I have been very pleased with my Insginia purchases.

This TV has a great picture. It is light weight. Also, it was easy to set up. Very clear instructions. You do need to buy an HDMI cord which the sales person said I did not need. Therefore, a second trip to the store, but he did give me a discount on the cord.

TV is very good easy to set up and easy to program has very good color and sound.

When shopping for a new 42" TV, this model stood out as having the best image, best features, and best price. We saw it in the store, and when we made our decision did an online purchase for store pickup. That too was an easy process. Setup was simple, the longest part of the process was getting it out of the box.

Solid tv, easy to use, good tv for the price, non smart tv but add a Roku or such and perfect

Had an older model Insignia which stays on 24 hours a day. We are in a large entertainment facility with about 60 insignias from 42 inches to 55 inches the 42 inchers for the bowling scoring stay on the most 24 hours. Only 1 in 2 1/2 years has failed. all of these tvs are the older LCD. The newer led are the same size screen in a lighter smaller package. Great tv for the price.

TV is great. Has enough HDMI ports. Picture quality is great. However, "external speaker wise", there is only a jack for headphones. Our old, 32" Insignia had a way to hook in our Bose speakers. This TV does not. There is no audio out. We are using a 3.5mm wire. Sound's not nearly as good as with the old TV. All in all, though, we are happy with the purchase. Good deal for the price.
