Over 2 years and my TV is still running welland has never been repaired since the day I bought it. Sometimes it would glitch but it just updated and started running fine again. What's awesome about is the sound, even when it's low it sounds loud.

A few of the pixels went out shortly after purchasing it. It is only apparent if you are close to the screen. It is still annoying and I don't know if more pixels will go out soon. Overall though its a good tv especially for the price. It is one of the few tv brands my blu-ray player remote is not compatible with.

I went looking for a 38 or 39 inch TV and saw this on sale for a few dollars more. It is not my first Insignia brand unit so I had some faith in it. It is performing extremely well. The one down side is that it is a fairly plain HDTV so I miss some of the more advanced features of my primary TV.

This is my second insigna tv the first one i bought was for my room i like it so much so i end up buying another one for the spare room. Why spend so much money for tv if u can get one for a cheaper price for your bedroom or spare room it serve the same purpose

My sony I had for 20 years quit so time to buy a new. after days of shopping found this tv at best buy. Loved the size, and was at a great price. easy to set up

I bought this for my son on his birthday. He wanted a different brand that was over our budget. We had never purchased a Insignia product before but it was the right price for me at the time. It was a good decision. Not one issues. Still working great!

This Insignia television has a great picture. At first I was a bit leary of purchasing the store brand. After doing some research though I was confident that this TV would work perfectly for me and it has. I would definitely buy this 42" Insignia again.

I purchased my TV about a month ago and so far I am very satisfied. It is for the bedroom and suits my needs just fine. I hope I feel the same way a few years from now. I gave it 4 stars because everytrhing and everyone has room for improvement but it's close to a 5!

my tv was an open box item which means I received the tv at a lower rate and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase seeing that I got a great deal since it works wonderfully.....pictures show really clear and no defects are detected....

The TV is good for the price you pay. Like most people on here say the sound isn't all that great, but that's what sound bars are for. If you're wanting excellent picture and sound don't buy this TV. Other wise this is a good basic TV with a small price tag.

Love the TV, it is actually the first TV I have ever bought and I am very happy with the results. I bought it for an amazing price and now I can enjoy a huge TV on my living room.

I am an avid gamer. My husband and I were in search of a TV for our bedroom for our XboxOne. This TV was within our price range so we grabbed it since it was in stock. We couldn't be happier. Wonderful sound and wonderful picture.

This tv is a sleeper, not a big name like the others but a great buy for the price. This is the second one I purchased & the picture is awesome. I think that people need to look into this brand a lil more for savings & quality!!

Bought this to replace an old heavy bedroom tv. Very impressed with picture quality! Gave it 4 stars due to audio being a little tinny compared to my other Sony Tv but I have external speakers to address that issue. So far so good. Hope it lasts!

I love this tv. Took back my 42 Samsung that cost me 500 big bucks for this. I saw it online was a little skeptical but followed my gut and it was right. Great for gaming as well. Great for the price. I also invested in the 5 yr protection plan which was also inexpensive. I highly recommend.

I got this for the bedroom. 42" was the right size for where we wanted it to sit. But we were really pleased about the picture. Easy installation. I also added the speaker bar and that added to the enjoyment with great sound.

We bought this tv for my craft room, and I am very, very happy with it!!! The picture is great...we are really glad that we went for the 1080p instead of 720p. We aren't going to be watching sports or anything on this tv, so we opted for the 60hz, which is just perfect for normal movies and tv. We plugged our Apple TV into it and works like a dream. Easy set up too. We would definitely recommend this tv! Great price.

Nice picture and easy installation. This is a 2nd TV for us to use with Wii and XBox. Don't let the generic name make you think you are making any sacrifices - our other Insignia has been going strong now over 2 years.

It was an open box discounted return, but for the money, I think it works well and has a good picture quality. I haven't had it for very long so I can't determine the quality of its life, but, I think I would recommend it to a friend.

I was looking for just a flat screen TV for my bedroom, nothing fancy. The quality on this TV shocked me-it was better than I had expected! I purchased online so I hadn't seen it in use on display. Definitely worth what I paid for!
