    This set was exactly what I was looking for, a NON-SMART TV. I am more interested in reliability, but who knows how long this one will last. My last TV (a Toshiba, 720p) is still going strong after over ten years, but practically nothing lasts that long today.

    Although I'm still getting used to these newer TV's and their sound quality, which I don't feel these newer style TV's are nearly as durable and reliable as older TV's. This particular TV so far seems to be ok, although it's sound isn't that great, and it doesn't have the TV timer that allows your TV to automatically turn on at a certain time.
