Screen was broken upon arrival

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a 43 inch 'non smart' TV and Consumer Reports recommended this Insignia but the 50" one. On checking I found it also comes in 43 inches so I was very pleased. The TV is hooked up to cable plus my ROKU stick and both sound and picture are great!! Be aware that there is no outlet for a DVD player but I didn't use it anyway. All the outlets for hooking up are pointed straight down instead of horizontally which is great if you are putting it on a wall but if you have bad knees it's a little difficult. I am very happy with this TV and hope it lasts a long time. Best of all, it was on sale at the time I bought it so I'm one happy retiree!!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is sad to see folks post negative info about a product before even learning to make adjustments to the TV that will take care of their complaints... Everything said "bad" about this TV can be adjusted--you just need to learn how to do it via online help such as youtube, etc. The remote is fine also-it's not cheap... Most people adjust their TV provider remote to operate their TV anyways. Also, not too many of the HD TVs sold today have very great speakers--that is very well known... You are buying an oversized computer monitor in reality. The speaker(s) on this unit is fine for my bedroom and if by choice later, I may purchase a sound bar.... Again, excellent TV for the cost and a reassurance in quality is the fact that Samsung makes the Insignia brand....
