Needed a small freezer because my tiny apartment refrigerator wasn't going to cut it anymore. This is the perfect size, runs quiet, and freezes as it should. Just what I needed!

Whenever I go grocery shopping I sometimes buy too many frozen food items and it's hard to make everything fit in the freezer of our Kenmore fridge. I bought this freezer for those times when I got carried away when grocery shopping, and also so I could buy extra frozen food items that were on sale. I also use it for large frozen items like pizza and family dinners that take up a lot of room in our regular freezer. This 5.0 cu ft freezer is perfect for our family of 5 and has been working well so far (3 months). I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs more freezer space.

I was looking for something to hold the overflow from the kitchen freezer that i did not regularly need. 5.0 cu ft is perfect! It can fit a tremendous amount of food, and the basket is handy for smaller items. I do not hear it constantly running (like my previous one did). I have had NO issues with this freezer, i picked it up same day from the local Best Buy, plugged it in the next day, and within about an hour, it was already starting to freeze. The design is sleek, and fits perfect in the garage, with a blue light to show it is powered on. I think my PG&E bill even went down!

We had been looking for over a year but hadn’t made the purchase and JUST when we were going to buy this at a competitor store for what I thought was a good price, Best Buy had this as a deal of the day for $99.. We immediately bought it and I am happy that my hubby can stop crowding our kitchen freezer with the tons of meat he likes to stock up on when he sees a good sale on meat. After looking a chest freezers for over a year, I can truly say this was the Best Buy!!!

A great chest freezer that fits those small areas. Holds lots of frozen food and keeps everything frozen. Quiet running.

I purchased this online, the online process was easy, i contacted the store i planned on picking it up from to ask some questions. when i went there they were very helpful and friendly. they even let me inspect it before i left, i did notice a small dent on front (see photos.. the 2 photos are of same mark.). this mark was clearly made during the shipping. when i got it home, it fit perfect in my apartment. it has plenty of room for my needs. it is very quiet and i am very happy to get this one. bestbuy website : 5 star bestbuy store employees: 5 star this product : 5 STARS shipping department : 2 stars

This freezer has worked perfect for us in our little apartment. No issues with performance. Everything stays cold and it’s small enough to fit in a unused corner.

I love this freezer because gives me extra storage for meat and frozen food. The price and quality are great and the product doesn't make any noise.

We needed added storage for bulk puchase buying and we live in a one bedroom apartment. This fit perfect in our little loft area. Sits up against the wall next to our Bowflex Max Trainer and isn't seen or heard except when we want to grab dinner. The gentlemen who delivered the freezer were incredible in mannerism and ability. Called before arrival in the morning and delivered even a little earlier than expected so we could enjoy the full day. Order and delivery was seamless and the product is sweet.

Love this freezer. Perfect size freezes well doesn't take up a lot of room. Well worth the price. So much cheaper than I thought. Wish I'd bought this years ago

This is such peace of mind for me. I hated throwing away food because I couldn't get to cook it in time, missing sales because there wasn't enough room in my apartment freezer and could not work out a meal plan by preparing dishes in advance like TV dinners minus the store bought high sodium packages. I think at least once a day I hear a little click. Sounds like an operational click not an annoying or defective one. Just its way of saying "I'm here for you". Other than that, it's so quiet I forget it's there. Love it!

We bought this randomly because it was a good deal and we just wanted a little more room then what we have in our main freezer. Then weeks later COVID hit and this quickly became the best purchase we ever made. Then size is perfect for what we need. We were think of getting the 3 Cu. Ft. version, but I'm really glad we didn't. I think that would have been too small. We have used this for about 6 month now with no issues. It keeps everything frozen even when it's packed full.

It is a great size for anyone limited on space, easy to move around. Freezed fast and quiet running. Perfect for what I needed.

I wanted to keep my frozen food frozen, and not have it partially thaw out during the defrost cycle in the freezer of my refrigerator, so I bought this Insignia 5.0 cu ft chest freezer. The price was reasonable, plus I got it on sale. I have had it for a year, and it is quiet, and has plenty of room for one persons frozen food. I use two plastic milk crates stacked one on top of the other to manage things. The heat is given off by the front and rear panels. The freezer is located in a room on top of short-pile carpet, and after several months I was wondering where the mildew smell was coming from. Turns out that the bottom of the freezer sweats alot. It was very wet and the carpet under it was soaked. I fixed this problem by putting small pieces of 2 x 4 lumber under the feet, and the problem went away.

i love this product. its perfect for my mom apartment.i bought it as a christmas gift and she fell instantly in love with it. its runs quietly. holds enough food for her. those who choose to purchase this product once you plug it in let it run with no food in it for 24hours. then you can load it up. i find by doing this it gives you a better performance and a chance to make the correct adjustments before loading food and the performance is great.

This unit is relatively small, but holds considerably more items than my refrigerator/freezer combo. It is simple to operate, basically you plug it in and adjust the temperature setting. We purchased this so that we could take advantage of purchasing food items when they are in season and on sale. In order to keep it full, we filled spent milk jugs with water and placed them in the freezer. These are removed when we need freezer space and, should we lose power, they provide ballast.

Light weight. Easy to transport. Quickly freezes. Perfect size for an apartment.

Terrific value, extra spacious and very quiet. I previously had a chest freezer that was loud with buzzing sound. This one is perfect and for $99

We live in an apartment and have always needed a little more freezer space. Luckily, we bought this right before COVID hit so it was delivered within a few days. This freezer is the perfect size to fit in a 2-bedroom apartment. We store it inside in a corner of the dining room. It makes a humming sound throughout most of the day, but it's not loud. It's kept everything cold with lots of room and a small basket for easy access. Great buy!
