These cables work very well. I used them with my NES Classic, but they should work with Wii and Wii U too.

Reasonably priced. Extension cord perfect for new Nintendo so you don't need to sit on the floor to play.

For the NES Classic console, this is a must, unless you have long cables running from your TV or receiver to your console. The controller cable is just too short. But this is perfect. It does come with the clear clip that hooks the male end to a Wii controller wrist lanyard. This makes it so you can only have one extended controller plugged in, but it is easily removed so you can use two of these on the console, while playing 2 player games.

This extension helps out a lot with being able to play the nes. Great length. Makes a huge difference

Before you buy that hard to find Nintendo Classic Mini you must buy one of these cables to make your original controller useable. The one that comes with the controller is only around 12 inches!! What were they thinking. $$$ For $10 you get a long enough cable to sit back and relax with. A must have if you are using the controller it came with. Well made product. Should be half that price for the reason being that it is just a cable.

This is a must-have for anybody that buys an NES Classic. Adds 6' of cord and isn't expensive.

The NES Classic is a great product - but has one major flaw. The length of the controller is wayyyy to short for a current living room type setup. Sitting three feet or less from the television is not an option for most - which is where the Insignia - 6' Controller Extension Cable for NES Classic comes in. This is a very basic - yet essential accessory that makes using the NES Classic feasible in most settings. I happen to have a projector setup in my living room - so sitting three feet away was not an option at all - but with this accessory (which many can be chained together) - it makes a great companion to the NES Classic - and for me is essential.

These do exactly as they are supposed to do. Easy to hook up and function perfectly.

There's not really much to say... it's a simple extension cord for the all-too-short cord of the NES Classic Edition's basic included controller. It turns that measly 2.5-foot cord into 8.5 feet for when you want to play anywhere besides on a small TV on a desk or something. If you're concerned about input lag, it's also probably a better option than most wireless controllers out there.

If you bought the classic NES Mini, then this item is a must for the controller. The length of the controller included in the system is too short. I haven't experience any issues with lag or connectivity with the cable. People keep mentioning a plastic piece to remove from the end to make to controller fit the system, but this one came without it. I didn't have to do anything to it.

If you have an NES Classic you know that the cord on the controller is too short. If you don't have one and are thinking about getting one you will need this to play your favorite games. You have to sit way too close to the tv to play the games you loved. With this extension, you can enjoy your favorite classic games from a comfortable distance and be able to see more of the screen.

Maybe it's me but sometime with this cable their might be a lag. I don't seem to notice it with a controller that has a longer cord attached. Was cheap and does its job

low cost extension for the mini nes its a must for playing with a big tv

The NES Classic Edition is a wonderful little thing to have...except for one thing: The included controller wire is entirely too short. These controller extensions work exactly like they are supposed to - extending the controller cable from appx 2.5 ft to almost 10 ft. Perfect for sitting on the couch and playing some classic games! Highly recommend getting these

Don't get me wrong i'm a big Nintendo fan from way back but in addition to make their NES Classic machines extremely hard to get ahold of them they added the additional wrinkle of there being laughably short cables on the controller. If you don't wanna sit two feet from your television set whilst enjoying your new NES you're gonna need one of these bad boys.

Product works great. No longer have to sit right in front of tv.
