This little purchase allowed me to set up my iMac to a second monitor! I could not figure out how to accomplish this; I am a designer not an IT expert. Thank goodness you have experts available to help IT knowledge-less people like myself. The Insignia was exactly what I needed to give me the two screens I needed to complete a graphics job!

couodnt find anything online that would hook up my Apple MacBook Air into my tv so I went into Best Buy and picked this up. Did exactly what the guy at the store said it would. Now I can stream movies from my computer straight to my tv and even watch slideshows I created-straight from my computer. There's no lengthy process into making this work. Just connect one end into the computer, and the other end into the HDMI port and it automatically brings up whatever is on your computer.

My son graduated high school last year. During his celebration, we wanted to do a slideshow. However, my old PC projector, which hadn't been plugged up in 20 years, was not up to the task with today's technology. I was scrambling for a solution when I stumbled upon this cable that would hook my MacBook Pro laptop up to the television set. It was my fault for not testing the old equipment but this saved the day and gave the family a great slideshow! It was very inexpensive compared to other potential solutions and of course an extremely easy setup. My family continues to use it. Very happy with this purchase

It works great for Macs but I also have a Surface Pro 6 that works with as well. It’s plug and play and love that I don’t need to a dongle connect to a monitor or projector.

Went into the store looking for a different brand of cable. This is all they had. A bit pricey, but it worked well with our Macbook pro & smart TV. Very quick set up, and seems to be holding up well.

I bought this for use with an Apple Mac book and have found it to be better than athe apple branded adapters. This cable was the mini display oort to HDMI which allows me to connect directly to the HDMI port with just this cable. Decent quality and worth the price to be dongleless.

This cord is great if your laptop doesn't have a HDMI port. I bought a TV that only had an hdmi port and wanted to use it as a screen for my laptop for presentations. It is long enough.

Great product for directly connecting device to an external monitior. I use with my surface pro 3 docking station for a direct connection to my desktop monitor. Great video quality.

It works to hook up my MacBook Air to the TV. I use it everyday and it's one of the best and most useful purchases I've made in a long time. I love that I can watch YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, lol well anything that's on my laptop from a bigger screen! I honestly don't know how I went so long without it! Certainly makes quarantine a bit better!

I have been using an older style macbook for awhile that had a cracked screen. This product easily connected my macbook to my my television and now I can use my tv screen as a monitor! it works perfectly. I also like to watch netflix and having the options to watch them on the big screen television. Works great and it was a simple installation process! I would recommend this item.

An excellent mini DP to HDMI Cable that works very well for Mac computers. This connected the first time and every time. It was straightforwardly recognized by the Mac, and displayed very well. I strongly recommend this for anyone wishing to project the screen of a Mac on an external display that already has its DP port used, and has a free HDMI port.

This cord made it easy to use my MacBook Air on my secondary monitor via hdmi. It is nice to have hdmi vs other means to connect to the monitor because that gives me the ability to use any tv as a monitor as well. Since I travel a bit, this means hotel room tvs can be used. This came in handy last week when I was out of state and wanted to watch a game that was only on my local fox sports station. I streamed it on my mac while plugged into the hotel tv. Perfect!

This cable does everything that it is advertised to do. No problems with the cable after a few months of use. I use it to stream from my surface pro 3 to my Samsung tv.
