I ordered this with my camera package and it has really been great. The unfortunate thing is that after about two weeks one leg broke, but I was able to pop it back in. It is a little flimsy but I still use it. I would recommend it for a beginner.

It works as it should and just as well as the more expensive ones in my opinion. Very stable and strong.

It’s nice and lightweight but legs are too short.I just need something where I can hold my camera so for me it’ll do. But for tripod purposes, I think legs would be too short.

Pros: Small, very light, compact and very portable. Cons: Ball joint is flimsy. If you screw too tight, it will pop itself out of the ball joint. The legs are a little stiff when bending/wrapping around bars, branches, etc.. For my use: Mostly motorcycle touring, It's easy to carry. The cost, light weight and portability out way the cons.

I use this tripod with my GoPro. Becomes a bit top heavy when attached. Legs bend in all directions, straight or wrap around things. Leave straight to use as a handle. Sturdy enough. Nothing broke when tightening. Small and fits easily in bag.

Have you seen people in TV news interviews speaking from home? Instead of a nice full-on angle, you're looking up their nostrils and their ceiling is the background! This is beacuse laptop users' screen mounyed internal cameras are angled upwards. This tripod eliminates that bad angle and upgrades your picture (your image). You can position the camera higher, in back of your laptop and angle it downward instead of up your nose. This is a solid, sturdy & compact tripod that you can easily pack & take anywhere. If you're on camera a lot, buy this and look like a pro.

Got this tripod for my Sony DSC-W800 pocket camera. Its very stable and the flexible legs allow for anchoring and leveling on uneven surfaces. The leg(s) can also be anchored to small diameter poles, fences, etc. This tripod is great for small cameras. I would not recommend for heavier cameras such as an SLR but would work great with compact video recorders as well. I am happy with the product

Even though it's small it still does an excellent job. You may have to prop it up in something high when you want to video or shoot someone standing, but you can also use it like a go pro. Just squeeze the leg's together and go.

This tripod is small enough to carry in a jacket pocket and very versatile. The rubber feet gives it great stability where ever you place it.

Got this as a present for a micro HD video camera. It worked well, was small, and easy to stow when not in use. It gig not feel very solid, and aside from use with a go pro, or similar small, light camera, it would not be a great fit.

This little tripod makes it easy to take group pics/videos. Hand it from tree branches, sets well on uneven surfaces, what more can you ask for. Yes it is made of cheap plastic, but treat it well and it will serve you well.

This tripod is tiny, but it may come in handy depending on what you're planning to do. It can grab on toe poles or thin branches and can hold your camera on uneven surfaces. Hard to beat for the price. I've taken it kayaking with a waterproof camera and attached it to one of my oars. It does okay.

I went to the store to buy a different Insignia tripod but saw that the feet on the other one were unstable, so I bought this one instead. At first I didn't think I'd like the flexible legs, as I thought they might be difficult to quickly move back to the middle for putting back into my bag, but the legs are actually very easy to move. I thought the flexibility might make them difficult to keep straight for simple use on a table, but nope, they aren't flexible enough to be difficult. Fits the standard sized holes at the bottoms of standard cameras and camcorders.

This tripod is sturdy enough for a smartphone camera and its mount, light and compact enough to take with you. Has a solid feel and the feet do not slide on flat, smooth surfaces. Legs can be positioned to provide useful angles as situations for photos and video require.
