Followed all guidelines regarding set up, including waiting a set amount of time before plugging in and cooling down time before I transferred everything from the old to the new Insignia freezer. The next morning, it had heated up and melted everything inside. Never had a problem with Insignia products before, so didn't think about buying the EXTRA Geek squad warranty. I submitted a claim to Best Buy for only recently purchased items that I still had receipts for, not the entire contents. After 20+ years of silver status plus membership etc., I was told by Best Buy since I didn't purchase the Geek squad warranty, they would not cover the loss, this after the instore customer service representative suggested I file a claim. Best Buy has lost a long time customer.

I had some fudge bars that I put in this freezer and they won't freeze solid. I did put a cup of water in the freezer and it froze. I have a food order coming in the next few days that has to keep items frozen...that will determine what I think of this freezer.
