Recommended by a Best Buy employee as an alternative to the Apple brand; it was cheaper and longer and is working well.

I have replaced many Apple junk white cords. This cord is much heavier and tougher. I've had two of these cords for almost two months and they show no wear, unlike the Apple products. I also travel for a living and there are a few advantages to this cord. First, hotel plugs are never in a convenient place. Secondly, I wrap my cords back up and repack it daily. These cords have been a real savior being tough enough for a traveling lifestyle and long enough to always put my iPad and iPhone within easy reach.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my brother. He is terrible about charging his phone and I remember he was impressed when I let him borrow my 6ft lightning charger, so I just knew that a 10ft cord would come in handy for him. Sure enough, he was thrilled when he saw it. And it was such a good price when compared to competitor brands with the same cord length. I think I'm going to buy a second one for myself. It's nice to have extra slack on your charger. Great product, so happy with my purchase!

The cords that come with the phone are just too short. This is a strong cord and has the extra length needed. I have bought several of these at best buy and will continue to as they wear out.. I have bought cheaper cords and they just work for s short time and then they are done. Sometimes I do return them and the stores exchange them but it is a hassle. I have not had one of these wear out test and have bought them for my children as well as a couple for myself. I keep one at my office and another by my bed.

I purchased this cable because I wanted a longer cable than what came with the Ipad tablet. I am very pleased with the purchase. The cable changes my Ipad very quickly, which surprised me at first. I really thought it would be a slow charge. When the kids come over they ask for this cable, they can sit further away from an outlet, use their device while it is charging without having to disconnect their phone in order to move around the room.

This item is well made, pricing was affordable, and the extra length cable is extremely convenient.

I've spent plenty of money on cheap charging cords that don't last long before the wires start to fray. So I decided to spend a little more money on something more durable. A friend recommended the Insignia cords. I bought one and it's lasted me forever, so I bought a couple more so I can have them everywhere. Also, I bought the longer cords that will reach my outlet from my bed stand. The standard ones that come from apple are way too short.

I chose this cable to connect my Apple iPhone to the wall plug, to enable it to charge overnight on my bedside while I sleep. I especially like the very long cord as it can reach across the bed and down to the foot if necessary. The cord does not twist or tangle. It seems to be of good quality materials and construction. I thought the price was quite high, but this is what I wanted and there were no similar alternatives.

I purchased the 10 foot cord. This cord is much thicker than the one that comes with the phone. I had to replace the original since it frayed off. Too soon to tell if this lasts longer, however it feels sturdy enough. The length is plenty enough that I could plug in into the wall outlet and sit comfortably without worrying about yanking the cord off the outlet

I sure like that I am not restricted to be standing right next to the outlet to charge my phone now. This product works great for my situation where at work I need to have my phone charged all day to make phone calls. The product is made of a durable plastic that can withstand normal daily use. I got it when it was the deal of the day. Downside to it would be that my coworkers like to use it too, I guess.

I bought one of these 4 years ago and it has worked so well and is strong and still in the same shape as the day it was new. So I bought another one last month and this is one of those items that are truly built to last and at 10' long it is perfect for anywhere. It also seems that the wire thickness is more substantial than the Apple lightning cable that it charges faster. Love this cable!

Before purchasing this charger, I purchased the Apple 3m one. I've always been a strong advocate for Apple products, but not when it comes to chargers... The connecting end of my Apple charger broke w/in about 4 months. I decided to go w/ a different brand, Insignia. This one is MUCH more durable and has already lasted longer than the Apple charger; not to mention, it's cheaper!! Love it!!!

Great charging cord. It’s so long, you forget/don’t notice it is attached. I got both my parents “plugged in” to the longer charging cord and they have each bought one (if not more) from the B.Buy where they live in TN. This the second one (exact same type/length/brand) I’ve purchased from Best Buy. The first lasted 4years 2months..... so, I’d say it’s worth it!

Great cord. Durable, long, and fits in the otterbox charging slot. Some companies make cord heads that won’t fit though a standard doorway so even though that feels like a dumb thing to list as a feature it’s something I have to worry about every time so now that you’re Reading reviews for phone cord online where you can’t try it out at 2am so do you now

Perfect cord to work while my iPad charges. The small 3- 4 foot cords don't last very long. The plastic always cracks on one of the ends. This is the second 10 foot cord that I have purchased. I bought my first cord last summer & it still is in great condition. I purchased this cord as a gift for my son. The cord is bigger and better , you can't go wrong by buying this cord.

I love this extra long Apple Lightning cable. It seems to be well-made and durable and is a much cheaper option than the Apple Brand ones.

I got this for my 13 year old granddaughter and all I can say is that she loves it. She's an avid movie viewer on her Ipad and this 10 foot cord has allowed her to rest comfortably any where and watch movies. She's had it a couple of months and it continues to work great, plus with its size, she doesn't lose it like she did the small one. She's happy, I'm happy.

My original cable that came with the phone was not long enough to keep charging on my bed stand while I browsed my phone at night. That is why I bought this 10' cable from Insignia! The cable is pretty heavy duty design. Works perfect for browsing my phone and keeping it charged from a distance. I love it!
