    I am pleased with my ice maker with one exception...it makes a groaning noise when it fills. It was a little creepy at first.

    So nice to wake up to ice cubes this morning! I had the icemaker installed yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see how large the ice bin was. It’s significantly larger than the one on my old icemaker. Very happy.

    Don't skimp on your new fridge without adding this perfectly compatible Insignia ice maker. Well worth it and you won't ever run out of ice. The metal bar is held back to an 'off' position when the ice container is full. Or you can adjust manually.

    Super easy to install. Good output of ice. Only thing that could have been better was for the instructions to list if the longer or short tube should be used for which refrigerator model.
