I have a Surface Pro and was going to purchase the Microsoft Surface VGA adapter, but then noticed this item. It's the exact same thing and costs $10 less. Plugged it into my tablet and had my monitor up and working right away. No software to install, it just works.

This item worked the first time and has been great ever since. My only reservation was that the box says it's for Apple products but apparently the MiniDisplayPort on my Lenovo ThinkPad works just fine with it. I am very happy with this product.

Turned my mini display port into a maxi display port! Now all the girls are coming over to see it. I used to be embarrassed to whip out the mini but now I am one of the big boys!

I had a presentation to make, only to realize at the last moment that my Mac didn't have the VGA output to hookup to my projector. Luckily, I was able to use bestbuy.com to locate a nearby store with this device in stock. It worked flawlessly.

I plugged this into my IMac to add another monitor. It worked without any effort on my part. The additional monitor is clear and functions well as a component in my dual monitor system.

I bought this on the off chance that I may have a connectivity issue with my MAC. People act like the Apple is so foreign. Went to conduct a presentation and low and behold they were not ready for the Apple. I use the adapter and it worked like a charm.

I bought this converter to replace a converter of a different brand that had failed. It needs to do one thing: convert my MacBook Pro's mini Display Port to a VGA output, and it does that perfectly. Heartily recommended!

For some reason the older tv had an HDMI port that did not work and it was all I had to use for my computer presentation. This adaptor allowed me to hook up my notebook computer to the TV and the presentation worked perfectly.

This is great device to connect your laptop to the monitor or monitors to help review information from the laptop. The price was worth the purchase.

used this to connect an old macbook pro to an extra vga monitor I had lying around. hdmi would've been a better connection but didn't want to spend on the more expensive adapter. this is good enough for what we need.

Needed something to add a third display. My monitor only had VGA and the computer only had mini display port available. Install was easy. No drivers needed. Plug it in and set your display settings.
