Purchased for my 9 year old who is making movies with her iPad. This rechargeable light puts out a lot more light than I anticipated from its small size. It plugs into a headphone jack for mounting, but you actually charge the light via a USB cord (it's rechargeable)rather than drawing power from the headphone jack. Small, cheap, and a great value for the price.

The light really works for taking pictures of objects up close. However, since the light has to be inserted into the audio port, the light angle isn't great. It was better for me to just leave it on a flat surface. Let me say this light brings out a great look on my cellphone pictures and tablets that don't have a rear or front facing flash or light. I don't think you should stare at it even for a second, it will hurt your eyes. It's not a 3.5m connection it just sits in there. The battery will get you a few pictures but was disappointed on how long it lasted before needing to be recharged. It has three settings based on how much light you need. For the money I'm not disappointed.

I was expecting a light that could be controlled by the phone but that's not the way it works it's a constant running light that uses the headphone jack for attachment to the phone. Also doesn't work well with defender case but I made it work with a headphone splitter.

My iPhone is my primary camera so I depend on this light for blogging and touch ups. It gives the subject (anyone in the selfie) a red carpet lighting grade, very paparazzi-like. It’s a pretty great price for a dimmable, extra portable solution.

I'm very happy with the Insamia led light, small compact and in great price range! Won't breaks budget but will help you make great videos with your phone at any light ! I'm considering buying another one for my wife for she likes to borrow mine often .

I like the size and the light it gives. I would like to see one with a longer plug so it would work with all protective covers for ipad and iphones.

Bright lights in a tiny device. Only bad thing is you have to remember to keep it charged.

A great portable light source for my phone. Adds light to portraits and really makes a difference in the finished image. Easy to carry.

The light works well and provides better lighting. The combination of yellow and white light helps with pictures since it is a good balance of colors. The only thing is, you have to turn it on the whole time and it is kind of bright to have in your face for a long time compared to flash. But when there is low lighting, this is better than nothing.

For under $20, you get what you pay for. It is what I expected. I bit better than the light on your phone. Allows for off camera lighting too. We realized not all phones have headphone jacks, so you may need an alternate way to secure the light. Provides great lighting for selfies...Maybe 5-10 feet. The light drops off after that.

Great light for phone. Makes looking for stuff a lot better than with phone flashlight. Picture taking with light is amazing

it works great..!!!! it does not use your cell phone battery as power source..the light is bright and handy

This little light works great for taking video with my GoPro. It has both cool white and warm white (light yellow/amber) LED's alternating in each row which creates a more natural light that if it had only one of the two colors. In addition, it has a low/medium/high switch on the side to make far easier to get just the amount of illumination. Extremely bright and easy to use.

This product was actually perfect. Yes it's on battery and charger, I only wish it was able to default to the phone's battery to recharge in the event you right now. Otherwise it is a very good product.

For $10 bucks this light had solved the need to replace my new iPad 5th Generation with an iPad Pro because of the lack of light when taking both video and pictures. The 3 levels of LED lighting offered solved my dilemna

Saw these advertised before but never got a chance to see them up close in action. If you need extra illumination this really helps. If you needed a dual lighing set up you can get an adapter and use a power bank then you have a hand held flood light. The price is right!
