Looks sturdy and well made. Cord is a nice length. I haven't had a chance yet to plug it in, but I have no reason to believe it won't work. Oh, and the price was right.

Works fine, typical sync cord. Purchased because it says it’s 8’ when uncoiled, it’s about 3’ coiled, maybe 5’ when stretched.

The Insignia sync cord is just what I needed. I was limping through with an old one that only fired part of the time. This one is heavy duty and works perfectly.

I don't know who designed this but the cord should be going towards the BACK of throw camera and not towards the front, over the lens where you make adjustments ... This is a complete piece of garbage, a waste ofd money and I rerturned it.

I was disappointed by this purchase. It worked for a few photo sessions before it started working sporadically. I took it to shoot a school graduation and it completely died. This was my second time purchasing this unit so I think I'll head in another direction to facilitate my shooting.

    Shoe shoo

For the most part the cord performed as it should. However, it was prone to misfire because the hot shoe connection was not solid. Not sure if it was on the camera end or the flash end or both. I had to repeatedly tighten the connections. Not something I want to mess with while shooting.

    Aweful Cord

I figured I'd try the flash cord trusting that the unit from Best Buy would be reliable. It causes the flash to misfire, over fire and under fire randomly during use. I've used Nikon cords for years and have yet to test or even read reviews of any off-brand that performs as well as the Nikon cords. Why is it so hard to make a cord that works? I don't shoot weddings very often anymore and I had forgotten how bad this cord was, when I shot a wedding yesterday and half way through the ceremony my flash started to misfire badly. Luckily it's easy enough to remove the bracket and place the flash back on the camera and continue to work. But man, what a stress inducer to have surprise you in the middle of a wedding!
