Pins broken rather quickly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Card reader was the only one available at the time with a CF slot.. a bit awkward that the card was inserted upside down to read, and more than 3/4 of the CF card sticks out of it.. ..not using it anymore, as 2 pins broke tonight.. tossed it out and went back to a Dynex reader I already have that I carry with me for working purposes. Won't but another CF reader where the pins are that close to the end of the reader where they can be damaged easily. It DID work fine the few times I used it before the pins bent.. they really need to re-make it with a deeper slot so you can put the card in straight like other readers.

Worked a total of TWICE

The item felt and appeared much higher quality than others I had. It only worked twice. Now when it is plugged in, Windows acknowledges something has been plugged in but it does not recognize the drive. The blue light is on when a card is present but it does not read.
