The device was broken and had to be returned to the store.

Bought it it didn't work and returned it. Too bad.

Failed the second time I used it after I bought it.

It's a great concept mad very poorly. It was difficult to determine which slot to use and the slots didn't hold the chips firmly. they would wiggle and cause disconnect in download.

Connections issues when I connect to any of my devices. It kicks on and off.

I had to return the first one that I purchased after 24 hours because my compact flash card would not fit. After retuning it the card reader worked for about two days before the spokes in the card reader bent making it unuaanle

the inside pin leaned to one side, and it is impossible to get in with SD card

I think I made a mistake by buying this--pretty much useless if you have a printer with the chip reader installed, or a thumb drive. My husband thought it actually had memory in it (per the name), but it doesn't. It just is the middle (unnecessary) step in transferring photos from one gadget to another.

I HAVE PURCHASED 2 OF THEM AND BOTH WERE DEFECTIVE OR TOO AN EXTREMELY LONG TIME TO LOAD. WILL NOT RECOMMEND

This reader is not user friendly. It's difficult to get the card in. Also, the card has to be inserted upside down. When you eject from the computer, you can't just eject the card, you have to eject the card reader as well. The is aggravating when you have multiple cards.

Worked one time. Wires bend easily when inserting CF card and won't work

plugged in and it didn't work. tried 5 times and still didn't work.

This is my second Insignia card reader within 6 months. The prongs ( i assume thats what they are called) bend easily when inserting and removing CF card and eventually cause the memory card not to work.

I read the reviews on line and asked the person working in the department and they all said it would work with windows 10 even though 10 is not an operating system listed on the package. It did not work!

Was not pleased with the card reader... I had to return two different ones to the store because of defects.

Wasted money. Pins were bent in CF card reader before I ever put a card in. No selection of CF readers in store other than this one.

Unfortunately, this may have been defective. My computer would not read the card reader at all. I had to return it.

Bought this to help with SanDisc Extreme SDHD card....worked fine at first, but didn't read my compact flash card

For the money this card reader is pretty good. It too a second to figure out which slot to use but the reader accepts at least 15 different size memory cards. The reader automatically loaded on my laptop and the download was fairly quick. Worked out great because I couldn't find the cable for my camera. Now I keep this reader right in my camera case. I also have various sizes of memory cards so no more looking for cables since this reader accepts them all.
