Other SD cards work when I plugged them in, MS Pro Duo did not.....
MS Pro Duo cards work fine in the camera, so the files seem ok. When I plugged it in with the MS Pro Duo card and clicked on My Computer, it did not appear as a drive.

It is absolute junk. Worked correctly maybe 3 times when first purchased in November. Now who knows if it will. Very frustrating. Over priced junk. Do yourself a favor and put your $20 towards a good one!

Specs show it to use existing drivers with Windows XP. Not so. Will not work on my version of XP and no driver can be downloaded. Worthless to me.

Best Buy associate not helpful. Did not take the extra effort to assure reader was what I required. Now have to return to the store (35 miles one way) to purchase correct card reader after speaking to product (insignia) associate via phone. I'm mad at Best Buy!!

Card Reader No Good

I just bought this reader to use with Compact Flash cards for my Nikon D200. I have a Mac Mini running OS X 10.9.4. When I connect it with the supplied USB cable the light comes on, so it's getting power, but the reader doesn't show up in the Finder window. Also, several pins for the CF card were already bent right out of the box. Looks like someone my have already had this reader and returned it. I don't know if I will try another reader like this or look for a different brand. Sixty mile roundtrip to Best Buy wasted.

It worked with ONE CF card, and then never worked again. I checked on other websites for reviews and realized that this item has awful reviews on EVERY site other than BestBuy.com. I know it was only $20, but I have needed it to work this past week and I hate waiting on an upgrade to arrive. Very disappointed in this cheap item!
