My old card reader had begun to not work anymore and was corrupting some pictures on import, so it was time to get a new one. This was the perfect replacement. I haven't had any issues so far, and it does import quite fast. I love that there are options for all card types I use (SD, CF and microSD). There have been a few moments while I'm scrolling through the photo files before I click import that it disconnects and I have to unplug it and plug it back in, but I suspect this is from my USB-to-C adapter (thank you, Apple), not the card reader itself.

Good fast card reader, small compact only reads three card sizes so that could be a problem for others. Easy to use literally plug and play.

Compact, fast, has all the ports I need. Microsoft OS recognized the device and wa a simple plug and play. Would buy again.

I use this for downloading videos and photos before editing and upload to youtube. This has not stopped working. It is awesome in a 3.0 USB, but currently in the USB slot on my seagate backup drive gets about 25MB/s. When I was using the cable on the video device it might take 30 minutes to upload to my computer, now it takes about 3 minutes, with USB 3.0 I can go about 2 minutes. This has saved me a ton of time.

Card reader is USB 3.0 which means faster transfer. Unit is compact. Cards insert easy compared to other readers I have used. Good price.

Very easy to set up and use. I use it to transfer photos from SD card to computer. Camera can also be connected by USB, but I find it easier to just pull the card out of the camera and use this reader. Also can leave card reader plugged into docking station so it's always ready and available. There were more expensive versions of card readers from competing brands, but this one does the job.

One the past 15 years, I have not owned a card reader which lasted longer than the warranty itself. Not only do I like the fact that it takes three different types of cards but it has a slot for the larger, outdated card (which two of my high-end cameras utilize). Also, it is compact and therefore travels easily. The price is also reasonable. So far, all good. I would buy it again...but hopefully I won't have to for a long while.

Very easy and intuitive to use. The Compact Flash drive, in particular, worked well. I tried another reader, from another source, and it was difficult to insert Compact Disks--the tiny prongs that have to match up with the holes in the CF disk were fragile and didn't line up well. This reader worked smoothly on all the formats.

My desktop doesn't have a card reader and it's a pain having to plug my device into the usb port, especially because I don't always have free ports. I need something easy and fast. I got this reader because it has multiple card formats and after using it I'm very happy with my purchase. Plug and play, good to go!

I had to get an emergency card reader, as the internal one on my computer died and I had to access some stuff on my old style big boy flash memory card immediately. I really did not want to do this because I had bought an external USB card reader some years back and that one was a piece of junk that would accidentally wipe the card or corrupt files if you didn't have the card inserted just so so. I was dubious, but found this one at Best Buy. It's actually pretty slick and very stable. Comes with the USB cord. I really like it. I may keep it permanently and not fool with fixing my internal computer one because it's smooth insertion of the card. Have not had any trouble with it.
