The card reader I had before was terrible. My CF memory card wouldn't fit in the reader very well, and in result, I lost a good chunk of my pictures. I have had ZERO problems with this reader! The CF card goes in easily, and I can effortlessly retrieve my pictures. Great price--great product!

This device is fairly basic and simple. If you need a decent memory card reader that is USB3.0 compliant, this works very well. No issues with reading my SD cards. It is truly plug and play.

Purchased this for transferring photos from memory cards to my MS Surface when on trips for editing and posting. The device works great, fast and easy to use. The only thing I wish it had would be a USB port to connect a mouse since the surface only has one USB connection. Will have to look into a BT mouse.

Needed this as a way to read older CF cards, and it did an excellent job. Fast and reliable, it also works very well with my SD cards when needed. I wish it was a USB-C, as the microUSB 3 is a bit clunky. But just make sure i keep the cable with it at all times, and its no problem.

Title says it all. I recently upgraded from a laptop to my first at home desktop PC for years. I needed a card reader that could do SD cards at least, Micro SD cards as well would have been great. This does the trick. About the price I was looking for and for USB 3, it's probably not going to get much better. Being USB 3, coupled with the USB 3 ports on my PC, it runs insanely fast. I work with 4k footage and massive photo files, so this is a huge plus. If you need a card reader, you can't go far wrong with this.

Had a bunch of pictures on some memory cards that I wanted to consolidate. Current computer doesn’t have a card reader so picked this one up. Works great. Smooth transfer accommodates many card sizes. Easy removal of the card from the unit. Thumbs up!

Great card reader. I couldn't find the one that came with our Nikon, but this one was a great price, and worked perfectly. Of course, once I had this one and downloaded photos from the camera, I found the old one. Now I have a reliable spare.

I needed a way to transfer photos from a CF card in the event the SD card in my camera fails (the CF card functions like the backup of the SD). My MacBook obviously doesn’t have a CF slot, so I bought this along side my CF card. It works great! No setup needed. Definitely a good buy.

I have owned Insignia products before and know they are a good name. I am currently using a Insignia speaker set on one of my business computers. I would include the model number but don't see it on the units anywhere. This is my first 3.0 memory card reader and am I'm impressed with the speed!

I shoot a lot of photography and have used this for two years now. It is still going strong and has not had any issues whatsoever. Install was super easy - plug and play. There is a blue light that comes on when the memory cards are inserted.

I normally use this to transfer around 30GB of footage to my computer. This memory card reader is twice as fast as my old usb 2.0 one which cuts the transfer time from 30 mins to less than 10 min. This is also one of the more affordable usb 3.0 memory card.

I use this card reader weekly to copy massive amounts of data from microSD cards. It's very rugged, super fast, and has never had an issue. I've only had this for a month, but it took me two weeks to break my last one, and this one is going strong.

I just built a new computer and found myself needing a memory card reader. My computer case doesn't have a front panel slot for a built-in reader, so, this USB card reader fit the bill. This will reader will work with any Mac or PC and does an excellent job. Well worth the money!

I have purchased a number of these, but this has been the best one I have ever gotten. A little more expensive than the others, but worth every penny. I use one of the bigger compact flash cards and it slides in and sits as good as it does on my camera.

I bought a second camera that uses a different card that my Canon 7d mark ii camera, all my readers had been Insignia because they are very reliable well built and have a good size. This new one kept up the tradition excellent reader and fits perfectly in the space I had for it.

Been unable to load pics to my Mac and Apple store had no card readers for my model b/c too old. Best Buy salesman recommended this as a cheap but reliable card reader. Works great! Downloaded all pics and freed up card space for the Holidays. Recommend without reservation.

I upgraded my computer and when I did I needed a reliable device to use with the SCANdisk to upload photos. This is small, portable and provides options of different memory cards so it can be compatible with my camera's memory card and others. Really like it.

I am in the laborious process of transitioning from an older computer to a new one. The old computer had card reader. The new one doesn't. The Insignia device was easy to install and provides more options than I had on the old computer.
