I used another brand a few years, and it suddently stop reading, thus I bought this one. It turns out one of the best, lightning fast reading, easy to use, comparing to the price, it's affordable. I am very pleased.

Great product at a great price. You will pay more for similar products online. The Insignia is very small but very fast. Comes with the USB cord as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

A very easy to install and helpful device if your laptop doesn't have the right slot to read the card you have. I needed a Compact Flash slot which is never on newer computers. Reasonable speed too.

Recently got this because of a new hobby. And so far its worked perfectly for my needs. I don't need high transfer speeds (or I would have gone with a USB-C version). But the speeds I get with this USB-3 is just fine. One thing to keep in mind is that this reader has a proprietary USB cable. One end is a USB cable, while the other ends is unique to this reader. Not a big deal, but if you ever lose the cord or it breaks, then you're SOL. The reader is pretty small (roughly 2" x 4") and hides itself nicely among my desk clutter.

I've only used it once, but that is one more time than a similar one I received in a package deal that broke on initial use. It's a bit easier than hooking up the cable provided with the Camera (Canon 7D) and you save battery power. On the first go, extraction of the files was intuitive. I'd say it's a good investment.

Excellent reader. Use it to download from an SD card to an Asus laptop. Very fast to download hundreds and hundreds of pictures. Highly recommend it.

Very easy to use. Just plug in to any computer, insert an SD, micro SD or CF card and you can view any document, photo or music that is recorded on your card. Small enough to carry in any camera bag or pocket.

I bought this mainly to transfer photographs from my camera's memory card to my editing computer. I have invested in fairly high end mircoSD (meaning fast) cards to record images at 4k. When you attach a USB cable from the camera directly to a USB port on the computer it uses USB2 speeds no matter what. When you remove the card from the camera and insert the memory cards into this card reader and then into the computer's USB3 port it is much quicker. I tested the difference and it is almost 4 times faster. GREAT!

I love this product. I have a regular digital camera so I use this to transfer my photos from the card to my computer. It is easy to use, doesn't take up much room and works quickly.

I'm still a little old school and have several Micro SD and SD Cards, so I was in search of a new reader and this one really Fits the Bill. Plug and Play, no problems, just the way I like it!

My company takes pictures of what we do every day. So I have to upload the pictures from the cars and this thing works great. I've had no issues and I use it a lot and the price was great too.

Easy to use card reader with USB plug. What more do you want. I needed to read old Compact Flash card for a robot backup. Worked as expected. Recognized in windows without any issues.

I need transfer my canon rod 7d photos to my computer. Without carrying my heavy camera around, it did a good job and I was also able to delete some empty folders I couldn’t do by directly connecting camara to the computer .

Works better than I expected. I shoot weddings and sometimes I have several thousand images to upload. This thing transfers files fast! What would usually take 10 or 12 minutes might take 3 or 4 minutes with this reader.

I purchased this reader because the guides on a few of my other readers weren't keeping my CF cards from bending the pins. This reader has been performing great and right about the same speed as any of the others. Plug and play and go!

I was having problems getting my computer to read SD cards in the computer slot. This unit made it very easy to open SD cards and transfer the pictures to my computer. It does a good job and was inexpensive.

Bought this to get data off my 4K camcorder faster than using the USB cable that came with the camera. Works great with USB3. Only really use it for XDHC cards but no issues so far.

I purchased this with my 2TB drive. This is an easy plug and play card reader. My Canon holds both an SD card and CF card to back up RAW files. This is the only thing you need in your gear bag.
