I tried using a vehicle mount that attached to the dash, but it kept falling. This device sits in one of my cup holders (which I never use anyway, and I have two if I need one), and it securely holds my phone, and it easily allows me to detach my phone from the device when I need it.

While driving and being able to review my phone information is great with this holder. I can quickly access all the information as I drive without having to pull my phone off the holder. it turns moves as I need to pull push it. It works great with my needs as an UBER and DoorDash driver utilizing and accessing maps and the Apps

I have struggled to keep my phone in place with a $5 vent attachment and this is so much better. It has a better grip on the phone, it opens more easily, and the mount is very flexible. Waaaay better than the old way.

I'm pleased with this item. It works as described, but rattles a little, hardly noticeable. The grip is quite secure and easy to remove the phone. The rattling is the reason I didn't award a 5 star rating. I drove 640 miles the day after I purchased it and it proved very useful. I'm pleased I bought this.

2 choices to mount your cel phone. Suction cup or vent. Not too fond of clipping my phone to my vent and chipping or damage. So I opted for the suction cup. It holds it very well. Very happy with my choice and would recommend.

Sturdy (vent unit didn't work), sticks well to window

This item works fine but is kind of flimsy. We haven't tried the suction cup yet, but believe that will get the phone closer for better hands free hearing of the phone. The vent mount holds on fine but seems a little too far away to clearly hear the phone. I would recommend it for anyone to promote hands free driving.

Easy to install. Works great. Safety first. There were a few to choose from, but I thought this one looked better, easier to install, and overall product quality looked better. When you're driving, right nothing worse than trying to navigate a phone. This makes it a lot safer and easier for everybody

Never a fan of the vent clip but nice to have the option of window or vent mounting in this price range. Mounted securely to my window and I like that you can adjust multiple ways to get the right view. It does shake a bit but not too bad so far. Can’t beat this unit for the price!

I bought this mount for my iPhone 6 Plus, and it works great. I attached it to one of my vehicle vents, and the attachment was easy, and making adjustments to it are pretty straightforward. I recommend this product if you have the larger iPhone 6 Plus.

For what it is, it's a pretty good product. It feels a bit flimsy and the grip on the phone doesn't inspire much confidence, but it actually does hold the phone in place really well (even with the horrible speed bumps and potholes around where I live, it has shaken, but never fallen or let go of the phone).

It's just okay. It is adjustable. It is plastic & not super durable. It does have the option for vent or window/dashboard installation. It is bulky but I guess that's part of the price you pay for the new law.

I got this for my wife to use in her car. Not only does she use it in her car, she uses it on the kitchen counter when she is looking up and using recipes on her phone. When she watches tv on her phone too. Much easier than trying to hold in your hands. Very easy to use.

Used on Samsung 5/6 and IPhone 5/6 with no problems. Easy to attach and dismount. Lets you set up your viewing angle preference. Some functions such as volume may be blocked by side grip mount. However, this was never an issue for me.

I was in Best Buy looking for a car mount windshield mount for my phone and or tablet. I've always bought a name brand. The one I chose was actually an open box item insignia brand mount. Quite honestly I bought it because it was an open box it was a little cheaper. Next time I need mounts which I typically go through 1 or 2 every 4 to 5 months with all my electronics it will be the Insignia mount. The end snaps to the gooseneck and fit perfectly. It doesn't literally fall off the windshield with my note for attached. It's a great mount and once again even if this item was a few dollars more I would pay it best mount I've ever bought!

We bought this phone holder for my wife's vehicle. We like the styling, the ease of positioning the actual phone. But we don't like the clip used to attach to the vents. Very difficult to get off (at least we have found that to be true). But other than that, a good product.

the part of the device which can attach it to your air vent is not strong enough to hold it securely. The window mount works very well with the exception that the mechanism to secure/release the phone could work better (not quite sure if the phone is being held well when you insert it).

Great mount at an inexpensive price. Good versatility. I use it for my Samsung Note 3 and my wife uses it for her Iphone 5s. Seems to be very sturdy and is not something that is going to fall apart after a few uses. My only complaint is that the vent attachment did not fit my cars vent.
