Bought 3 and worked ok during set-up despite a couple of resets on one device. I noticed, disconnection if your device is far from wifi router, I moved it back to near the wifi router and did not have any problem. Just make sure you have strong wifi on where this plug goes.

Recently purchased the Insignia smart plug but it was IMPOSSIBLE to setup. Took them back and exchanged for the Wemo brand it was super easy to setup and they work perfectly with my Google Home. Definitely recommend.

This is a great product it works with the touch of a button on my mobile phone and allows me to turn my lights on and off even when I'm not at home I would definitely recommend this for anybody who wants to have a smart device

It was easy to set up. I like it a LOT better than the manual ones I've had in the past. I love that I can program it as well as turn it on and off when I'm not at home. I am looking forward to getting another one.

I have something that I want to come on only on certain days of the week. Typical timers didn't allow that. This allows me to pick my days and times. This is great and I can control it from my phone. LOVE IT!!

It was difficult for the devices to find the wifi signal. And, it took several tries in different ways for the app on my phone to get them to work. I almost was ready to return them to BB until my brother helped me to get them to work. Now they work well with no complaints.

this was a good way to start my smart home experience. setting up was a little tricky as the app was a little hard to use initially, but now the plug is working well with my wifi. i use it for the bedroom light, and generally works well other than occasional slowdowns

Set up is not intuitive. It will set them up in different “homes” or “rooms” and then you have to hunt to find them if you need to edit anything. Once you’re set up it’s good EXCEPT the system gets overwhelmed and plugs go offline for no apparent reason. I have 8. If I did it again I’d probably pick another product. But Jess were on sale and the price point was good for a test. It’s a “get what you pay for” item.

Overall: Good product and recomended for those who would like some smart home funcionality at entry level pricing Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to set up, Smart Design Cons: Insignia App not the greatest, Some random disconnects (but reconnects automatically)

I couldn’t get this operate the way I wanted it to. It lost communication frequently.

I bought 3 of these and 2 weeks later they failed. After spending hours of reinstalling the software, creating a new account and multiple resets I returned that batch and purchased a new one. So far it has stayed connected to my wifi and hasn't frozen up the iPhone app. The schedule function works flawlessly so if the product gets a firmware update and some work is done on the iPhone app this would be a Must Have product.

I should have read other's review before perchasng. I had a hard time setting these up, but they worked great and even have an ALEXA skill. But I noticed both occasionally lost the Wi-Fi and don't know why. Then suddenly into week three, total failure. And while I can factory reset them, can't seem to get them back online. They worked great so I hope to find the cause of my troubles (could be my router, we'll see)

Bought 3 for my lights, works great on timer but voice activation doesnt work.

I gave it a 3 star because it doesn't work with my Echo. Had to return for the wemo brand.

The item was easy and straight forward to set up. I had it up and going in less than 5 minutes and works perfectly. I have it controlling the Christmas tree for now and will move it to the doggie door later.

Not sure if it’s the device or the app, but not worth it. All my plugs are scheduled via the app to come on a t 6pm. Some come on at 6pm, others later, and some not at all. I have deleted and reinstalled so many times. Not predictable.

I have two of these and they integrate nicely with Google Home, though a bit clunky in that i have to set them up first with the Insignia app before Google Home will see them. They could be smaller and thinner so not the best choice for a tight space.

This has came in handy for christmas, I have them wherever I have a tree and I turn then on and off whenever and wherever I am, it is so easy to set up and use, I will be purchasing more to use everywhere in my home!
