This product was very difficult connecting to internet. Hasn’t really worked at all.

This wireless smart plug does exactly what I wanted just wished it used Apple home kit.

I tried using three of these plugs in my house for a full month before I gave up and returned them. They stopped connecting to my WiFi network one day so I had to figure out how to get them going again. After about a week, it happened again, this time affecting only one of the three. I removed them from the network, did a factory reset and then attempted to get them reconnected. Wouldn’t work. I tried everything, including deleting my Insignia app and reinstalling it from scratch. Still wouldn’t work! So I returned them and switched to the more expensive Belkin Wemo smart plugs. Two months in and I have had zero problems with the Wemo system. Do not waste your time on money with these Insignia plugs!

It is a cheap alternative than buying smart appliances or expensive smart bulbs, its easy to setup and needs no hub so will connect directly to the phone and useful with google assistant or amazon echo.

After a few weeks and even after upgrading to a Velop wifi system, this plug likes to randomly disconnect. Before it happened because I had a garbage network but now after upgrading to Velop everything saw connection problems disappear, except this little plug. Had to do a factory reset on it tonight, not what I want from a brand new piece of tech. Gonna try the Wemo and see if it's any better

Works as any smart plug...somedownsides...you need to log in with a bestbuy.com account to set it up...little hassle..would opt not to...also sometimes google will say the plug is busy but not sure of thats googles fault...it does not happen to my tplink

We were going to be going on a very long vacation and wanted to setup some light sequences that made it appear that we were out of town. While we could have purchased similar products through our alarm company, I wanted something that was not proprietary and something simple. In comes this smart plug. It is simple and very effective. It has a green glow light that you can configure to be on/off. The Wu-finreception in our house is very strong so I cannot speak to how they perform with weak signals. The app was intuitive and we were up and running in about 15 minutes from box open to finishing all the schedules we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to those that want manual or scheduled wall plug capability.

Really enjoy using this Wi-Fi plug with my alexa spot. Easy to set up and super nice to have the convenience of hands free access to turn on lights when entering my house at night.

I love these WiFi plugs it makes it easy to turn my lights on when I’m not home or if I am home trying to watch a movie so I don’t have to get up

Works as a timer but disconnects from the wifi and you have to unplug and reset.

I purchased it to replace my timer. Works great and if I need to turn it on or off other than the preset time, I just tell my Alexa. I don't have to fumble with my mechanical timers anymore.

Bought this so I could turn on a light and look like I am home. It works flawlessly and was up and working in minutes. Pleased to find out that I could set up a schedule. Great product and great buy.

Works great with the phone app but it doesn't work with Alexa or Google Assistant

Bought two to use with my Google home mini. Have them set up with my Christmas trees right now. It is so easy to turn them on and off with my voice using the Google home or on my phone with the app.

I had originally purchased one plug to test and it worked so well, I grabbed some more when I saw that they were 10 bucks off. They integrate nicely with my Google Home and function as they should.

My previous wall plug timer died. I was looking for a replacement. I saw this smart plug on sale at the local Best Buy Store on Black Friday. Bought it and set it up without issues. It has been working fine.

Bought it to control my Christmas tree with Amazon Echo (Alexa) and it works great all the time. Only feature that might come in handy will be to mesure watts used other than that it’s a great plug

I use this for my bedroom soft light and its amazing. I have it hooked up to my google home for voice control. Im gonna try and use it for my A/c window unit in the summer to see how it holds up

Best buy's insignia smart plug is a great deal at this price. works as expected.

Works well directly with Google home. Missing functionality with IFTTT however.
