iOS 11 setup was kinda awkward. Then, when I did an update of the Insignia connect app all my settings disappeared and my scheduled continued on devices, which was a problem because I couldn’t turn them off or cancel. I had to reset all the insignia smart WiFi outlets after that update. Would be annoying if I had more than 2.

Works with amazon echo. Be sure to read instructions when setting up with iPhone. Stopped working for a day, tried all the setup steps but it just kept blinking. Suddenly a day later it started working again. Will only see one of my two WiFi’s, no idea why. For the most part easy setup and inexpensive way to automate a lamp.

Did not work with the house lamp. Very disappointed!

Works great for my salon where my humidity level is most important. I set it to come on 3 hours before and this little plug / device turns on my humidifier for me. App is sometimes wacky but works 90% of the time.

This is a pretty cool device. I purchased it to power and program my Christmas tree last year. The design is clunky but works. Now i am using it to program a garage light. Simple to use and affordable.

Installed a heater in crawlspace to keep pipes from freezing in bitter cold temps. I can turn it on & off from my smart device w/out going under the house.

I use this wifi smart plug with my lamp in the living room without having to touch the switch, great to use with google home or amazons alexa! recommend !

Does not like my Samsung s7 cause s7 would not connect as the phone has a Safety feature that does not connect wifi devices that are not real Internet connected device so setup was not nice. Setup fine with my older Samsung S5 but that phone was retired so this went back.

Using this with Amazon Echo is great for turning on lights, appliances, etc. Easy to set up and can be used without. Echo using the phone app. Works great!

Only con I have on this product is that it would not connect with the latest iOS version on my iPhone. Had to use an older iPad to connect. Other than that, works good while paired with an Amazon Echo.

I have been using this for quite a few months now with Alexa and the Insignia app. It works great and is very easy to setup. The app is very easy to use too

If you are looking for a low cost alternative to remotely turn on a plug for lights, heat, or air conditioner, this offers a great value: One caveat is the app crashes a lot, preventing a 5 star rating:

Bought this to work with my new echo dot purchase. I had read reviews saying that lots of people had problems with them and unfortunately i was also one of them. Couldn't get it to link properly with my home wifi. For some reason it wasnt accepting my correct password. Even after resetting the product multiple times it still would not connect because it would tell me that my password was incorrect. For the price if you can get it to work it would be great but i wouldnt recommend this product. Just spend the money and get yourself something better like a tp-link or wemo.

I got this to test with google home. And it’s been awesome. I tested on multiple things and had no issues. Gonna buy more outlets and switches coming up

Love this , cheaper than others and works with my chrome mini too. The App is easy to use I have a Wemo also and their app is a little more challenging.

I have 3 of these plugs. Two of them have always worked fine but the other one keeps losing its wifi connection and now it doesn't work anymore. I restarted it like it said in the directions but still doesn't work correctly. Overall, I do like them. I must have just had one bad one that I should have returned.

This was my first wifi home product purchase. It was very easy to set up on my IPhone in less that 5 minutes. Works great in my foyer for my lamp light

I purchased these smart switches to further enhance our smart home network. We’re using these two devices to control two plug-in lamps, with inconveniant manual switches, via Alexa voice control.

This product may be the greatest thing since sliced bread; probably is because the apps require you to have a newer version of IOS or Android than I do. For that reason, I had to return this. I would recommend this to a friend, in the same breath that I tell him to verify that he can use it before the purchase.

I use my Wifi Plug for my Holiday Light and like it, I don't need going downstairs to turn off my Christmas Tree anymore. Only Issue it was a little confused set up, rest working good.
