This is one of the best smart wall adapters someone could buy. Easy to setup, lower price and works like other top brands on the market.

Very simple setup if only you are going to use the Insignia Connect App. But if you want to set it up with Google home then there are few more steps and resets to be done to get it correct.

Initial setup was little complicated (??) as it did not show the exact error message why the device was failing to connect. Later found that I was giving wrong wifi password. It did not show the proper error message but simply kept saying setup failed. But otherwise it works as expected and good deal.

I bought 2 of these, took me a minute to figure out how to use them, but it was actually very simple just wasn’t doing the steps right

Well as the title says this is supposed to work with the google home mini so we will see if it does. I just like that it can turn a light on when you enter a dark home with the hands full.

We were having a hard time remembering to turn off a lamp. Now with the app, we can. Schedule a time on/off or with a touch on the screen. Pretty cool!

I connected my fan to this. best thing ever !!! laying in bed telling alexa to turn the fan on and off while I'm being lazy is wonderful

I purchased this so that I can turn on my lights by asking my Google Home Mini to do so when I get home. It synced with the Google Home App very easily and it only took a few minutes to set up. I did have to download the Insignia app to use this product in order to sync it with my Google Home Mini but it takes up very little space. The indicator light also only turns on when the plug is on to let you know that the electricity is flowing through it. I like this product enough that I purchased more of them. I will use them throughout my home.

It's working as described with echo tap and its very easy to setup.. Good thing you can login with you best buy account.. No need new user setup!!

The socket is doing what it was meant to do. I use it for my bedside lamp and it's scheduled to create an impression that I'm home even when I'm not.

I bought one to give it a try and i like it. The app work great and from anywhere i can manage it. Also you can schedual for certain times of the day.

I have a smart plug from my alarm co. that I rent for $5. a month. Wish I found this sooner. I turn it on from wherever I am for my dog to have light.

Despite the fact that it took a little while to get the device set up with Google Home (10-15 mins) it has worked great ever since! Use it to turn on my Christmas tree for the holidays.

This little item is great! It is easy to setup and it works with Google Home and Mini. Schedules are breeze and multiple if you want. .

This outlet disconnects about once a week, and will not reconnected to the wifi network after several restarts. I have tried on a 2.4ghz network, a mixed 2.4ghz/5ghz network, and just a 5ghz network (not supported). I have tried password locked and unlocked, it still will randomly disconnect.

Once I got this thing installed on the apps (which was a headache) it got to working smoothly with no issues to date. It really took a few tries to get it going. Finally worked after I ran into an issue with naming it on the insignia app then ignited no it and it was in google home app without issue

I purchased this to use with an Amazon Echo. It was easy to set up and works perfect. Now we can turn on the living room light when we walk in.
