My Wife purchased this for me on valentines day and it is awesome. It does what is says it will do. There are things you should know that you won't find out till you get to register. You have to pay for installation which isn't included in the price. I own an auto repair business so you can see why I didn't want to pay. There is no way around this so if you're looking don't go with the listed price. There is no way around it my wife had every manger in the store trying to waive it because she knew i don't like anyone else working on my vehicle. With that being said the installer did a very nice job. Lastly this will spoil you. You will never get in another cold vehicle and not complain.

I purchased for my son for Christmas; he went to have the item I purchased installed only to find wrong one for a manual shift vehicle; the manual remote would cost another $100 on top of large sum already paid. I spoke with the technician and he spoke with the store manager and they made good on installing a comparable manual remote start to the amount I already paid, on my son's car without my having to pay another $100.....OUTSTANDING service and customer care........highly recommend Best Buy and their employees......and the remote starts works like a charm.......THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an excellent install & advise from Best Buy Mobile for my remote start. This was just one part that I needed for the remote installation on my new RAV4. The installer told me because of the car's technology, I didn't need all the items I purchased and that an alternative part would do the trick for $100 less and it would be a 2 way rather than a 1 way system. How can you argue about paying less for better? I took his advice and everything works great and I'm so glad I got the two way instead. I have never been happier with Best Buy!

This is my first remote start and I must say it was a great choice! As I must park outside at home and work, it's nice to be able to get into a vehicle that is already warmed up and windows defrosted. My only complaint is that the remote start will only reach 1 mile if it is a relatively clear line of site. I must step out of my office at work and walk into an open area away from the buildings to be able to start my car. But I can fix that by purchasing the phone app, if it becomes too much of a hassle.

I was initially worried about having Best Buy install my remote start on my 2015 Tacoma. Installer had the vehicle done at the time he promised and everything looked as though it was supposed to. He took the time when I picked up to truck to walk me through all of the functions of the remote start. Had me operate the remote start to ensure that I knew the process. I have nothing but good things to say about this install. Great job Best Buy!!

Derek (hope I spelled that right) installed my auto start in my Honda quicker than he said, answered all my crazy questions, showed me how to work it twice when I didn't get it the first time and was patient the while time. You've got a keeper there Best Buy. Don't let him go!

I was looking for a remote auto start system so my wife could start the car before she had to go out into the cold weather in the mornings. This system had all of the features that I wanted, start/stop, panic alarm, door lock/unlock, safety theft feature, trunk unlock, car finder feature.. Good value.

The product works great. Does everything I wanted it to do. The installer was fantastic. Great gentleman. Explained everything. Worked quickly and as even training someone at the same time. Great experience.

The technician was nice, install took 2 hrs longer than expected and the information on the mechanics of the remote start was not given by the technician. Other than that, all else was fine. It was given as a gift and I haven't heard anything negative yet.

Starts the car from within the specified distance about 90 percent of the time. (maybe the other 10% has something to do with specific locations with electrical interference between me and the car, or thick walls?) I'm satisfied with my purchase however.

I was extremely happy adding this to my gmc pickup. Works great from a long distance and both starts the truck and works with the door locks. The fob is super small compared to others and fits well in the hand. Great experience with the Best Buy installation crew!

Seems to be a good remote have not gotten to install it yet had to get a bypass system like the ability to say up some very nice features along with just starting the vehicle like window controls heat and or cooling control plus many others

The remote starter works great and Best Buy associates were so helpful during the purchase and install. They were very knowledgable and were able to answer my questions.install took a few hours but they kept me updated on when it would be finished

I live in a canyon that is really cold in the winter. My walk from my house to my car is a 100 yards plus, so getting out to start my car and warm it up was always a pain. With the remote start its easily done from inside my house.

I wish the distance range was better. However, it is nice to have an auto starter. It was purchased for a college student to help to warm & cool car before entering. Also it's good to start car when approaching at night.

had this installed because I don't want to seat in my car cold. I remote start 10 minutes prior to going to my car and viola, the car is warm inside. Also, the green light on the remote start indicate that the engine is on .

I had a Viper Remote Start installed by Geek Squad at Best Buy. The installation was faster than expected and the employee took time to show how the device works. Would recommend for any car installation needs!

I am very happy with my remote start. Installation was done by Best Buy and the Service Dept was great. I really appreciate having the remote start installed especially after last week's weather.
