Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the strong cleaning performance and ease of use of the Roomba s9+ and Braava jet m6 bundle, with many praising the combined vacuum and mopping capabilities. However, a significant number of users point to issues with the noise level, mapping inconsistencies, and occasional navigation problems. Some also mention concerns about battery life and the overall cost. Despite these drawbacks, many appreciate the convenience of the automated cleaning system.

Vacuum is excellent, but a few minor details haunt
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is mainly the vacuum review--haven't broken out the mop yet so I will post up a review. Roomba s9+: As a previous owner of a roomba, I was favorably impressed with the new design of the rubber "pickup" beaters. MUCH improved. I threw the beast to the wolves--carpet, where 4 cats, 2 dogs and a room that had not been vacuumed in several weeks. As expected, it failed miserably. HOWEVER, it was a good failure. Instead of just sucking up the loose stuff it grabbed up and balled up fur and left huge handful size tufts of it all over whereever it ran. Needless to say, the Vac itself got plugged up as did the Vacuum base. Good news! Really easy to unclog the robot, but they could have taken a page out of Dyson's engineering manual with the Vac Base--took 4 screws to remove the cover. Cleaned out quickly and the screws went back in. Should have been clipped in and more easily removed. So I hand vaccumed the piles of fur and did a once over of the whole carpet. Re-ran the Roomba over the room and it picked up a lot more stuff that my dyson (old) missed. I double checked the carpet up close, and it was very clean. The roomba itself was noticeably quieter running than the previous one I had, and did a much better job with the vacuum pattern than the previous one. The Battery seems a bit small--two rounds of somewhat less than 450 square feet dropped the battery level to around 50%. The app and mapping feature is a work in progress. It takes several runs to actually map an area, but once the map is locked in, you can specify certain areas to clean and save them and schedule them especially if they are high dirt areas like doorways/foyers or the like. The Vacuum base is an interesting item--it's merely a charging base with a suction motor that pulls the dirt from the roomba up into a small dust bag inside the top cover. It's a pretty standard setup--friction fit bag that slips over a small nozzle. The bags aren't large, but might be good for a couple weeks or more of standard vacuum dirt. The App I mentioned is very good--it has all the bells and whistles I think are needed--but I'm new to it, so every use is a new adventure. It'll handle more than one iRobot, so as soon as I turn on the mop, I'll be able to add it to the list easily 4 stars. unclogging (albeit an extreme case) was more difficult than it needed to be. I'm suspect of the battery life (although it will return for a charge then continue the vacuum cycle), and finally, the vacuum base is LOUD when the roomba docks and it engages to suck the dirt into the bag. Louder than any vacuum I have! But, it only lasts several seconds. Tolerable given I don't have to do the vacuuming :) Good buy, but Find it ON-SALE only.

Worthless piece of “Tech”
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constant mapping issues. Constant error messages. Can’t dock itself. When we dock and start a new job, it gets lost and tries to dock itself again. I’ve replaced the wheels in the vacuum twice. The battery has also been replaced. The mop has been used rarely (maybe a dozen times or so) being that just using our swiffer is simpler/easier. Even still, the mop will do 2 passes, then fault. The mop also never docked properly since day 1 regardless of location. I cannot stress enough how stupid I feel paying over a thousand dollars for these ugly, buggy, non-functional pieces of “technology.” OH, and they require the lights to be on to clean. So overnight cleaning is not an option and the vacuum is so loud that my spouse and I cannot have a conversation, or watch TV at a reasonable volume if we’re home while it cleans. Just get a dyson stick. We have 2 children under 2 y/o and this was supposed to help and the dyson is far easier/faster. iRobot was a COMPLETE WASTE.

Good mop, disappointing vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M6 mop works flawlessly. Really happy with it. Maps really well, mops in a pattern that is efficient. The S9 however, is a different story. I have one room with carpet and takes over 2.5 hours to vacuum on average. This is due to the recharging. Starts vacuuming before being fully charged, then has to return to be charged again. The vac does not vacuum in any pattern that makes sense. I've remapped and it didnt help. Just to vacuum downstairs it starts with a full charge and results are on average: 2.5 hours of vacuuming and 2.75 hours charging in addition. On tile floors, the vacuum runs on lower setting and can run longer, but still seems to get lost of what it is doing/where it is at.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this vacuum a maximum of 10 times, it started showing errors due to the main vacuum component. After contacting support, they sent a replacement part for me to fix it myself by watching a video (ridiculous, as I bought a robot to save time, not to waste time doing mechanical repairs). Once repaired, it worked for another five uses before a new error occurred, this time related to the battery. To give you an idea of how little this item has been used, the brushes are still new without a single scratch. Frustrated with the situation, I went to Best Buy, as I have a 2-year warranty. At the limit of my patience with a product that has only given me problems, I decided to stop using it. Best Buy had to charge me a fee to try to repair the vacuum. This is definitely a problematic product that isn’t worth the price. On the other hand, the robot mop works without issues and does a good job. Apart from the water tank being small, I’d say it’s a good product for a small apartment

Amazing little helper.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do love my roomba! It does a great job keeping the pet hair under control for two dogs and a long haired cat. It did take a couple of runs to figure out which areas would cause problems like the bed skirt and cords under the bed. It also got stuck in the walk in shower. We have tile floors, area rugs and carpet. I am really amazed with just how much fur this little machine can pick up. I will say there maybe a concern - the last two runs the battery has died before it could make it back the charging station.

Does what its designed for pretty well
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quite impressive performance so far. The mapping activity took a few runs. I had to relocated base after which it completed mapping in one run. Does clean up from all corners and under furniture pretty well. Good suction plus empties out to the larger bin. Did find once that it died on its way to re-charge at base (this was like 3rd or 4th run). Mop works great a little slow but thorough cleaning, takes a few mins to dry out. One concern I have is once m6 parks back do see some accumulation on droplets from mop, will see how in few months that surface looks where mop contacts base.

Not as expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had better expectations for these products. Mapping of house gets better after a whole week; however, very often both, the mop and the vacuum, die whenever they run out of battery and they don’t return to charging station by themselves so you have to pick them up. Also, when they finish they don’t send you a detailed map of their daily work as other robots do (such as the Neato). They’re not as detailed as described by people.

General Review
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They do the job quite nicely! The Brava Mop would be nice if the tank held more water or the charge lasted longer but other than that, amazing products, and if he layout is open, it's a must buy!

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for cleaning our hardwood floors. Not the fastest but gets the job done. Saves me having to worry about having to clean the floors. When i run this on my living room carpet, the batteries drain pretty quickly and it has to recharge before finishing.

Great time saver!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this to deal with the non stop hair from 2 dogs. It took a few times to figure out house out but has been great for saving time in everyday cleanup. Only downside is the battery dies before it finishes cleaning and has to go recharge before finishing. I would still recommend

60 days in, Mop requires warranty replacement
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I am happy with the vacuum’s operation and base station storage. The mop on the other hand has had several issues with getting lost/stuck, to being unable to register that the water tank is full even after resetting the bot. To make matters worse I cannot currently use the mop due to a battery failure and need to wait for the replacement. It’s only been 2 months and I’m starting to regret this purchase. One other think of note, the matte finish on these robots will be full of scuffs and scrapes if you have white baseboards/furniture. It makes them look dirty very fast but has no effect on operations.

Returned both
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iRobot s9+ worked great for one week except that it would not store its maps for more than a day. By day eight I found it sitting in a room after running 15 minutes with its battery so dead that it could not make it to its charger. The s9+ did vacuum up the dirt better than the 10X original vacuums we own, leaving the floors looking better than with the older vacuums, until the battery failed. The Braava jet m6 mopper was a disappointment out of the box. It would not keep the map settings either and it left streaks on the floors even after 4 times going over after the s9+ vacuumed. I had the original mop and still have 2 500 and 600 Roomba vacuums and I love them. The original mop did a great job with the back and forth mopping motion. It broke down several years ago.

It’s ok…….
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my device for over a year now and I already need a new battery, I’ve had to call the company due to multiple errors I couldn’t resolve myself. As expensive as this device is, I was looking for more longevity and stability

Not worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a Christmas present in 2021 it’s now June of 2022 so I’ve had more then enough time to think about this review . For starters , the original mapping of the house was very annoying. It wouldn’t detect my carpet in my hall way so I eventually had to just take it out . After the mapping was all done the roomba gets stuck , can’t even complete a full vacuum in one charge the battery life is terrible . It’s SUPER loud , there’s just constantly problems with this robot . It’s a scam that my hubby bought it for $1,000 and now it’s on sale for $700 we should be able to get that money back . I would’ve returned it but by the time I figured out how much I hated it it was too late to return . Save your money . This robot is a piece of expensive junk .

Not worth it, very disappointed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the money, I am so sad and disappointed. I had 7 errors in 30 minutes which meant issues were happening with the robot. It got stuck 3 times in one hour which meant it completely stopped till I had time to go look for it. It doesn’t get the particles in the edges. The battery died out after only cleaning my living room and kitchen mind you it was fully charged. I had done so much research on which robot to buy. I choose the S9+ But I am very dissatisfied. It’s too much money to have these types of problems. It’s going back :(

No point of getting one if you need to babysit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want something cool to show your friends then get this . If you want something that is consistent and YOU DONT need to babysit then this aint it it. This is my 3rd one due to the fact i had to exchange multiple times because of consistent errors. Similar issues with m6 wetmop. I literally have to be home to save it from some type of error. My iRoboti vacum is repeatedly saying to charge it now as I write this and won’t stop even though its fully charged and haven’t used it for days. Simply not worth tge big price tag for for any of these.
