This is our first foray into the world of Robot vacuums and must say I personally am blown away by it. We have owned it for the last one month or so. We chose the S9+ iRobot Roomba since based on my research, it is the best robotic vacuum at this time. So far it has fit this bill perfectly. The installation was very simple and my daughter did it since she was so super excited about it that she would not wait up for me. So by the time I got to it, she had already installed it and kept it ready to go. We put in the laundry room and it does not take much space. We started the mapping run on day one of installation. It took a good 5-6 hours and we had a bit of doubt as to what exactly it was doing. But apparently this robot learns and now we have a daily schedule that vacuums the most frequently areas which it finishes in an hour and 10-12 mins like clock work. We have tiles on the first floor with carpet in two rooms. The vacuum switches from tile to carpet mode effortlessly. The vacuum’s suction (S9+ has the highest suction in current range of iRobot vaccums) seems just right. I am amazed at how the vacuum navigates itself through the maze in your house. The careful drive feature does work and it does not bump into objects. Also it seems to clean in areas that our usual vacuum does not reach. Although my wife would occasionally sweeps the floor to bring dirt from under normally stationary objects like sofa etc, it is not needed everyday. For the daily quick clean, make sure though that there are no dangling wires that may get entangled in the vacuum or any clothes. The vacuum can get stuck if there are clothes lying around. We do “clean everywhere “ deep clean on the weekends and that job finishes in about 5 years. If I had to suggest improvements, I would say somehow if they can make it more quieter in future, it would be awesome. Also I know this is asking too much, but if it can do stairs and go on second floor too. :) Little bit regarding the Mop. We were debating whether we should buy the Vacuum and Mop combo but decided to go for it since Bestbuy was giving a nice discount on the combo during the Black Friday sale. The mop does a decent job, is very quiet and even tells you if you forget to fill the cleaning fluid. It takes a long time though so if anything, that is what I would ask for improvement. All in all, very happy with the purchase!

Both these devices are amazing I have hardwood floors I have to clean every week for them to look nice and this combo does it for me great products. The robots have a learning curve that’s frustrating they get caught and can’t return but after running them 3 days in a row that has been cured so try not to be turned off by the early issues it gets better.

Had a few hiccups setting it up, and didn’t help when the whole cloud service through AWS went down the day after we got it. But since that got fixed been running fantastic! Vacuum works great and the self empty is a must! We have used it for a week and a half straight and haven’t had to empty it yet. The only negative is the mop not being able to cross thresholds that are a little tall. It confuses them with a rug. The mop action however is great, no streaks or leaks. I had to play with it a bit to get the no go zones and rooms mapped but once it’s set we can just pick rooms and let it go. We have a standard clean pattern with Vac/Mop with the press of one button. I would also recommend a strong internet connection since it has to go through the cloud for the maps. We have DSL and it’s hit or miss to no fault of iRobot.

About 2 weeks in and both have done exactly what they need to do. Setup was easy and map runs were done the day I got it setup. The roomba did get stuck in one spot during mapping but now doesn't seem to be an issue. The beta mode on the braava lets it go over threshold by simply putting up a zone. The map itself is great with the clean and keep out zonrs and its easy to edit areas. I recently synced it to google voice and it works great. Whether I'm near or far away they go to work when I ask them too.

It does exactly what a normal vaccum does. Only its automatic and it doesn't take up your time. I bought it because we have a puppy that's growing up and there's a lot of shedding right now so we thought this will help keeping everything relatively clean. It mapped my downstairs pretty good and i have it set to vacuum every night before we go to bed. The battery lasts for a full run, meaning a big living room, kitchen and a hallway are all vacuumed without the need to recharge. The fact that it empties itself is very useful. After about 2 weeks of using it I dont have anything bad to say about it other than the price being a little high.

The set up was surprisingly easy. Download the app, connect the device to home wifi and it's all good to go! Allowed the machine to charge to 100% and then allow it to go for a few rounds, to map my place. It could easily detect different rooms within the house, and for those that it couldn't, you could actually edit to split the zone into different zones. The vacuum and mopping are amazing. Best purchase ever ♥️

Not necessarily worth the price but I do like it nonetheless. Both roomba vacuum and braava jet work in unison to clean my floors. I just wish they were cheaper so I could keep one on each of my floors.

I love this combo! The vacuum is really powerful and can be adjusted. The suction is really strong. I have j7+ and definitely s9 is a better vacuum machine. It does the mapping accurately but the only downside for this is when you have pet mess since s9 cant detect it and avoid. I always make sure there’s no pet mess on the floor before starting.. The mop serve its purpose, it does clean my LVP well… One more thing iLove about this vacuum robot. It is very good at cleaning Corner of the walls

Very smart with smart sense technology, clean each and every corner if house and we can choose the specific portion of house for cleaning and having smart toner as well

Absolutely love these products. It took about a day to figure everything out but has been worth it. The Smart maps and scheduling is awesome. My Wife and I do not need to spend anytime doing this anymore.

Who would have though a Vacuum Cleaner could be a good investment. But let me tell you. It is. 2 things in life of great importance. Time and Energy. This product, saves you tons on both those items. The combo saves you a great deal of time and leaves your home cleaner than could ever be.

Best gift I've ever gotten for mother's day. What's better than not sweeping or mopping again! Very easy instructions, I do like techy stuff though. Just make sure to treat it with love, clean it and make sure nothing is on it's way cause it will def eat it lol I just love it.

This S9 was a wonderful iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum - very powerful. However, I made the decision to return it since the mop is separate from the vac, making a bit extra work that I don't need. This is why I chose the Ecovacs Deebot n8+ instead. The mop and vacuum on this Robot are altogether. I am very pleased with it; does an excellent job also.

We have had our Roomba set for over a year and have loved them. They do a great job keeping our floors clean!

The bundle is great! I have 2 bedrooms apt they do a great job here, just few rugs but the entire place is in vinil floor

Bought this due to new job where I won't be home as much, and also a cat who loves to kick litter everywhere. The vacuum is amazing - ran the first run with vacuum so then the second mapping-only run wouldn't push litter and hairballs all over - I was SHOCKED with how much the roomba picked up even after I had just vacuumed. Picked up all litter, cat hair, my hair, everything. Great navigation. Took a little longer for the initial runs, but afterwards I've been able to run it smoothly and quickly. The braava, on the other hand, I am a bit less impressed with. It definitely mops, but it needed a lot more help with navigation than the roomba did. I'm still having issues getting it to go over some thresholds (it is parallel to the path the braava mops in so I am stymied re: how to teach it to discover that new area). It also didn't map as nicely as the roomba did, with some areas missed and some weird other areas added. I wish the roomba and the braava could share a map, but alas the braava must learn a map on its own. I like the aesthetic of them matching, so if cost is not an issue, by all means get the matching set.
