Not what I expected. The floors stay very wet and with strips of water that makes you get a mop and dry it yourself... in that case it's better that I do the job myself!

I bought this for my wife (she asked) for Christmas/Birthday present. We were worried at first because the Scooba left a lot of standing water, but after a quick update, it works great! We are both pleased with our clean floors!

The iRobot Scooba does an okay job for its intended use. Sometimes I find little pools of missed water that he circumvented around during his squeegee phase, but aside from that, it does a decent job. Mine catches a lot of cat fur and hair (I have super long hair) so I clean the bristles out every time. Kind of a chore, but a necessity to keep it running properly. I run this guy a few times per week before I leave for work and come home to him somewhere in the room. He's only gotten stuck once when he managed to wedge himself between a chair and my couch. I've since made sure the chair is shifted a little ways away and haven't had any issues since. I'm looking forward to future models of the Scooba. I would particularly like to see it self-dock like its brother, the Roomba. Aside from that, I'd recommend him if you have the money and lack the time to mop.

Works better than I expected. Given that it's round, it can't do corners, but other than that, I am happy I purchased it and would do so again.

It does clean, the only thing I don't like is the majority of the water has to evaporate, and does not get picked up by the Scooba. At the most it my pick up 4 ounces..

It is handy for clearing spots and moping of dirty hard floors.

I hate mopping so I love Scooba! There only down sides are that it only cleans a small area before it needs the charge and you have to clean it each time. I highly recommend getting the charging base as well.

I had used Roomba for a while and was very happy with the performance, Scooba to our range and we feel we do not need anything else.

I bought this for my family in vn and they really like it

The theory behind this unit is to lay water everywhere then come back and clean it up. In dry areas of the country, the water simply evaporates. When you empty the "dirty water" there is no water because it evaporated before the unit could get to it. R&D department should have figured that out. Also only good for a SMALL area, such as a bathroom. Battery life is short. Cleaning fluid is expensive. We do have a Roomba 780 which is wonderful. The Scooba is of very limited use and insanely expensive for what it could do under the best of conditions!

I received Scooba 450 as a newly-married gift from my mother-in-law, and it works perfectly to keep my house clean. I will recommand it to husbands and wives who work all day and are lazy to clean off their rooms.
