iRobot Scooba 450 Floor-Scrubbing Robot: This easy-to-use cleaner is built to scrub hard surfaces like tile and hardwood floors with a 3-step cleaning process. Just fill the tank and press the "Clean" button, then let the Scooba do the rest.
Robotic floor scrubber for hard surfaces: Cleans anywhere you would use a mop, including tile, linoleum, vinyl, marble, slate, stone and sealed hardwood.
Three-cycle cleaning process for thorough scrubbing of hard surfaces: Cleans in 3 steps, starting with a sweep and presoak cycle, followed by a scrub and squeegee-vacuum cycle and ending with a final squeegee-finish cycle.
Cleans rooms up to 300 sq. feet in 1 cleaning cycle: Makes multiple passes over every section of floor to ensure thorough coverage.
Programmable and easy to use: Choose a full 40-min. cycle for mid-sized rooms or a 20-min. cycle for smaller spaces. The information button and audio cues keep you informed about the robot's cleaning cycles.
Dual-compartment tank keeps clean and dirty water separated: Unlike a mop that reuses dirty water, Scooba cleans with fresh solution from start to finish.
iAdapt technology responds to your unique environment: Built-in sensors help Scooba avoid rugs, carpets, stairs and other drop-offs. Plus, The soft-touch bumper has a nonmarking strip to prevent damage to furniture and marking of walls.

not what I expected
Not what I expected. The floors stay very wet and with strips of water that makes you get a mop and dry it yourself... in that case it's better that I do the job myself!

Clean floors!
I bought this for my wife (she asked) for Christmas/Birthday present. We were worried at first because the Scooba left a lot of standing water, but after a quick update, it works great! We are both pleased with our clean floors!

Does okay - looking forward to future improvements
The iRobot Scooba does an okay job for its intended use. Sometimes I find little pools of missed water that he circumvented around during his squeegee phase, but aside from that, it does a decent job. Mine catches a lot of cat fur and hair (I have super long hair) so I clean the bristles out every time. Kind of a chore, but a necessity to keep it running properly.
I run this guy a few times per week before I leave for work and come home to him somewhere in the room. He's only gotten stuck once when he managed to wedge himself between a chair and my couch. I've since made sure the chair is shifted a little ways away and haven't had any issues since.
I'm looking forward to future models of the Scooba. I would particularly like to see it self-dock like its brother, the Roomba. Aside from that, I'd recommend him if you have the money and lack the time to mop.
