But I would suggest that any future version of this have more than one powered port that can charge a phone without being plugged into the computer.

The USB 3 is pretty speedy and allowed me to backup my hard drive in a few hours to an external USB 3 solid-state HDD, and now I can charge phones and tablets off of this adapter with the (provided) power supply as well.

Great USB hub

It connects easily and supports many USB devices from One USB port. The speed is really good as long as you connected to a USB 3.0 port. I have used other brands which are cheaper and they don't seem to hold up and they are not as fast as this one. I found you get what you pay for with these.

Review of J5Create used with Photo Booth

I purchased this because I own a Photo Booth Company, Local NJ Photo Booths and one of the booths uses a Surface Tablet with only one USB Port. I need to connect a printer, camera, mouse and keyboard. It is recommended that you use the power cord that comes with it, so I did and everything worked flawlessly with all the components. I need 5 star Thom M

This hub did the trick. I have no issues and the price is great. I like it so much I bought two and I use all 14 hubs on my laptop with no issues. And they are 3.0 and also a fast charger on one of the ports as well.

Knock on wood. It’s performing well and we’re able to plug in everything it can take. Less clutter makes my wife happier.
