Having a powered USB hub isolates the machine 5vdc from the USB communication between servo drives and helps isolate the electrical noise source. Very handy to have in transient noise troubleshooting.

This holds everything I need and the side connectors are a plus as now the labels on the thumb drives are easy to read.

It sets up quickly the newer computers and provides plenty of charging power for multiple phones and can be put in any place next year computer for easy access for hooking up flash drives and other items conveniently. I have three of these now and have no problems with any of them
