Posted .The USB Hub is a PnP device, no software required. Please make sure USB peripherals are connected securely into the Hub with a little force.

The JUH377 does not require the power supply to work. It can be powered by the computer it is plugged into. The power supply is optional for providing extra power to the fast charge port.

Plug in all the things!!!!

I use it to plug in a mouse, extra monitor, microphone and ring light. There is a usb port that has charging power to it. It looks nice and sleek and works great! And I still have room to plug in my external when needed. Wow!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally buy Anker brand USB3 hubs but I needed one "right now" and BB doesn't carry Anker and this one had a lot of good reviews. Everything plugged in and worked perfectly. If there's any negative issue, it's that it -is- very small and light weight so the various cables you plug in tend to shift the position of the hub; sort of "the tail wagging the dog". I imagine being liightweight and small would be considered a benefit if this hub was to be packed in your laptop bag for travel. The power adapter is not tiny but, if you want to power portable drives that need power from the hub, you need plenty of Amps. I'll probably use a few pieces of sticky-backed velcro to keep the hub positioned securely. Nothing worth removing stars from the review.

Posted .Regarding the JUH377, it will appear as a SuperSpeed hub under Universal Serial Bus Controllers which is located in Device Manager for Windows 10; in the case that it did not appear under there, it is possible the JUH377 may be defective. There is some troubleshooting that we may try if you wish. In the future, if you experience such issues with our adapters, please feel free to contact support printed on the casing to speak with an agent and they will be glad to assist in properly getting this up and working as intended, or if necessary, offer an exchange as long as it is within the manufacturer's 2 year warranty. No matter what I add, I don't feel like I'm overloading the hub. And with 7 Ports, it should be sufficient for business or casual personal use. I would assume this is a good option for gaming as well because it has 3.0 ports but It would depend on if 7 ports is enough for you.
